Hey that looks great! Especially like the scrolling tile mapper, very impressive. Are you planning to implement the autoturning? Like when you hit a wall, i believe it automatically turns a direction according to the wiki page?

Well don't let this discourage you from working on games. If anything let it be a learning experience There is always more we can learn about the TiOS, even I don't know all the tricks.

Okay i am going to rewrite the physics code. It was originally written for the engine that only had a floor and no roof, and then when i added roofs, i tacked on a little piece to the code, and didn't fully update it, so now i will be going on a full revamp. get rid of these silly bugs

Haha yay glitches. DJ you silly goose, escaping to unfinished areas Haha for future reference, those are areas where you will have to avoid enemies, so you can get to know them before you have to fight them. There is also a puzzle room involving platforms ^^

Yep, thats the physics bug that I am trying to fix. It was introduced when i made celings, but i'm still not quite sure how it happens. I'll be looking into it

IT WORKS! I Am One Can Short Of A Six Pack!!
In other news I have gotten together a kinda working demo Level for Castle Storm I have been working on it in secret for a while, as it is my school project ^^ The demo is definetaly not bug free, as there are display glitches, slowdowns, and even physics errors. I got it to work in a Jar file after much hitting with a hammer, and I am proud to present the Beta for the first 4th of the 1st Level for Castle Storm Haha its very small, and you have no gun, have fun The new version can be found on the first page of this thread. 4317

Heh, yeah thinking with Portals can be very tricky especially for people who aren't as good at puzzle games.

TI Z80 / Re: Tetris in TI basic« on: April 18, 2010, 02:36:45 pm »I think you should make the pieces contact the walls also, and instead of moving the walls, I'd make them 2 pixels thick, so it touches and you can pxlTest. Hmmmm? The walls are tested using Pxl-Tests, I just moved them to give a more styalized design, although it doesnt seem like it is catching on The pixel that is being tested is in the center of any given block, so walls are tested just like pieces. I'm thinking that i should add lines in the spaces now, though And yeah DJ i have been programing for a lot longer than I have been on Omnimaga, i was just celebrating a glorious day ^^ Hmmm the release of Vortex on TiCalc is dated to about 2 years ago, and i believe i got into programing in the beginning of the year, so i have been in the community for about 2 and a half years 4319
