That would be very useful as well. This made me thinking, since the LCD isn't memory mapped (right? ) swapping buffers would be as simple as changing a pointer in the safeCopy routine right? Or do I not know what I am talking about?

Well what about if you had specific code for 84+'s and some for 83+'s and you wanted the compiler to smartly compile it, like a clock function that calls the clock on one, and for the 83+ it just uses cycles or something. It would help for the more advanced users.
Well do we want it to compile smartly or run smartly? Most likely Axe programs will be released as just regular asm programs, and the user wont even ever need to touch the Axe compiler, so having a smart compiler wouldn't make much sense. What would be better is if the clock function worked different ways on different calculators.

Does this mean that you will be able to color code syntax? Like BCalls are green, ect...

Could there be a command to swap the buffers instead of just copying them? That way one wouldnt have to be destroyed in the process.

I know what there are no negative numbers in the calc, and I know of ways to do the correct math. Its just weird that -(-D*2) is NOT equal to D*2, and it would be nice if it did

I think its been mentioned, and its been said that you can just write your own routines to display 16x16 fairly easily in Axe. And that if he ever does support it, it will be late in development. For now you will have to settle for 4 8x8's

Silly zTrumpet, trying to optimize while still in development stage haha jk, good job on finding the bug. I hate it when they are that small and obscure.

I'd reeealy like to see signed comparisons and operations. It would make a lot of things a whole lot easier. Also, would it be hard to add the 'step' optional argument to the For loop? Its killing me that i cant go backwards

Hey i just tried this out today, and let me say AWESOME JOB calc84! It looks beautiful and perfect in every way! (Except for the stupid blurry LCD screen ) My friend bwang has the 1.1 glitch however, so i wont be playing it all the time, he wants to protect his terminals. And its so awesome how fast it runs as well (although i would have * toggle instead of being held down) just goes to show what will be possible on the nSpire!

I think a heading like :"AXE would be sufficient and there would be other options in the App as well.
Well any MirageOS program called Axe would show up then Maybe just 'Axe? Since ' is the symbol for comments anyway?
