Alright, a friend just layed my game after i sent him a ling, and he got frustrated after 2 levels because he didn't know he could rotate pieces. (He enjoyed it after i told him how, but thats no the point) The point is that i managed to achieve the awesomeness of completing all but 2 levels without rotating a single piece!  The ones i couldn't do were cannon and cones :P

*Builderboy explodes again*

That is constructed from pure awesomness!!!  How is it coding for the nSpire?  Like, its still with asm, but how do you compile to hex code if it isn't a z80 chip?  Or is it not asm, and some kind of C compiler?

I guess with 4+ hours of pure cuscenes and gameplay, you would have to do something about it! :P

I know what you mean.  I also tried to learn asm a while back, but decided i liked coding on calc due to portability (and no, slow basic assemblers don't count :P) but the 28 day tutorial was really confusing in the beginning x.x.  I think i managed to get a piece of text that you could move around the screen, but it had all the speed of basic and crashed horribly when you went outside the borders :) oh well.

Gosh, 4H?  Thats crazy long.  Well it sounds like a sure epic game if you can stay awake through the cutscenes XD

The checking in with a judge sounds like a good idea, cause we can't be sure everybody who wants to join will be online at the exact same time.

Well, I know that they have a competition coming to a close, and unless Graphmastur goes and starts another contest right off the bat, i think we will be fine for a while, he just finished a fairly large OS challenge.  But yeah, a weekly challenge might be cool :)

I have some ideas that we could do for short mini-competitions.  They would only last a week or so, and so we could have a couple in quick succession.  Perhaps ideas like 24Hour coding, where a theme is revealed at a predetermined time and entrants have 24/48 hours to complete a game/program.  Or a 1K challenge, where coders are challenged to get the best game into a file size of 1K or less.  What do you guys think?

Hmmmm, methinks a mini contest series might be in order?

To add a number to a matrix, you need to create another matrix of the same size, fill it with the number you want to add/subtract, and then you can add/subtract those matrixes.  I use this in Shift, ans so i had a dedicated addition matrix :)

Nice!  Yeah i know that some levels have alternative solutions, thats why i give a bonus for solutions that don't use all the pieces. On that level i need all 4 pieces to set up the solution, but after i set it up, i can put one away.
