I do, its just that for the screenshot, i had to use a non-special char because wabbit was complaining.

I think there are 2 main reasons the main loop is so fast.
1:Collision detection is done via PixelTest, which is faster than lists, strings, or Matrices. 2:There are only 4 scenarios when you wan exit the main loop. 3 of those are to see when you go off the screen (left, right, bottom) and the third is the event variable/key variable. If K>30, exit the loop. This accounts for: The Item/Action/Menu keys, as well as key values above 105 to account for other possibilities such as being hit by an enemy The same applies for shift, in a slightly different manner, as it uses matrices for collision. 5268

Serenity / Jump Button« on: October 23, 2009, 10:26:37 am »
So I recently realized that people like the use of the [UP] button as the jump button. I originally had it as [2nd] because it would be easier to jump and then move immediately after. Because of the limitations of Basic getkey, You will need to press two keys in order to jump and move, I would just like you're opinion as to what key you would like more.
(keeping in mind that the Item key is Alpha, and the Action key is XTon) 5270

I've come to think that this is the reason for my massive Serenity corruption, as I used it frequently before, and since I stopped using it, have not had the problem again. I ruled out TiConnect, because files that I had not transferred to my computer were later found to be corrupted too Anyway, I've stopped using GroupTool, even though it is very very usefull. 5274

ironically, it was my grandfather who figured it out, not me. He had been doing it for a long time to bookmark all of his sites.

There is an even easier way to do it with bookmarks! Just resize your browser window so you can see both the desktop and the omnimaga homepage at the same time, and then drag the [Home] button onto your desktop. A shortcut should be created!
