The Axe Parser Project / Re: Bug Reports

On certain calc's, the key port needs to be written to with 0xFF before it can be changed reliably (or something like that, you might have to ask Calc84 or Thep or someone).  Either way, I do believe the Axe getkey(#) command needs a small upgrade to compensate for this.

Dinosteven, did you download the latest version?  There was a problem very similar to yours that I believe I fixed yesterday.

I thought I had fixed the signing issue last night? o.O Unless 're-signing' is different than 'signing' and I'm missing something?  I originally uploaded an unsigned version near the very begining, and later reuploaded the signed version, maybe you downloaded it right away?  If so, try the latest version and see if that works.
I dragged it over the batch file named "DRAG APP OVER ME" and it told me that it resigned the app. I downloaded it almost immediately, too, but it is on my calculator now :) I've never played Portal before, and I have to say that it is quite fun!
Yeah you probably got ahold of the unsigned version, I fixed it pretty quickly but you missed it :] Glad you are liking it!

Still using the 2.43 OS. No trouble running this.
That is good to hear!  If anybody has any trouble shooting portals, make sure you are running the latest version, and if you still have issues, make sure to send me a message!

Also I fixed the issue where on certain calcs with slightly different hardware, the portal shooting could get messed up sometimes.

Bug report from TI-Planet: On OS 2.55MP, the 9 key shoots upwards instead of diagonally down-right.
That's very strange, and sounds like it could be a general Axe bug or something, I'll have to run some additional tests.

I am in favor of preceding the commands with the letter modifiers.  This allows the same syntax to be used for both the horizontal/vertical lines, as well as the different drawing modes for the drawing commands, which would help keep the syntax more consistent.  Additionally, adding more and more extra tokens for new but similar commands can get annoying when they start being spread out over multiple menu's, with the letter modifiers we only ever have to look towards a single token.

I'm curious as to what the method you use to make the water tiles spread out.  From what I gathered, each tile has a water level associated with it, and it spreads out to neighboring tiles, but what is the equation and algorithm exactly?

1 Question: You can ask each of them "Where is the correct door?". It's not a tricky question, so you're safe.
2 of the guards will pick the same door. One guard will pick another door. The correct door is the one that 2 guards pointed to because there are 2 truthtellers.
You can only ask 2 questions D:

If the first guy you ask is a liar, he will say that yes, he will kill you if you ask him a tricky question (he will be lying).  But you will also get the same response if the first guard is the one who kills people.  If the answer is yes, all you know is that the guard you just talked to is not the guard who tells the truth (but doesn't kill people), you still don't know where the liar is or where the guy is that kills people

Overly complicated?  What about the guy who kills people who ask tricky questions :P

but the liar question will always be awnsered with no
If you ask the liar if his neighbor is a liar, he will always respond yes because he will be lying.

Label the guards 1 2 and 3.  Ask 2 if guard 1 is a liar.  If he says yes, ask guard 3 where the exit is.  If the says no, ask guard 1 where the exit is.

I think those count as non-tricky questions :P

That is correct!  I am curious, did you manage to deduce the answer or did you have to look it up?
