Casio Calculators / Re: Casio Prizm skinning promotion
« on: November 05, 2011, 02:33:56 pm »
i think i'm going to do this now =D
i want a compilation of as many different calc dev related logos i can think of. so far, i have:

omnimaga
cemetech
sicode
revsoft
dcs7
united-ti
ti planet
maxcoderz
ticalc
clrhome productions
axe parser
ragnarök productions
TILP

is there anything else i should add? something older, maybe?

oh, and i'm thinking of maybe putting a picture of nikky on the back :P

EDIT: this is so exciting =D
What I can't help but notice is that most of them are TI-calc related, on a casio calc x.x
Cool, tho.

So this is still going?  I thought it ended in October :P

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: How we can improve Omnimaga?

Thank you for adding the "+" and "-" buttons to the section for adding replies!  This makes it easier for me to type in a huge reply.  It used to be that my text box would violently scroll up and down if I was typing a long reply.
Would it be possible to put that in the signature-edit box (Profile → Forum Profile Information) as well?  :D  Or does it only work for the post-writing page..

Art / Re: Monochrome art

I wish I had a dithering fillbucket and other dithering tools. It's a pain to do it all by hand:P
There's ways to do that in some programs...with Paint.NET there's something built in and in GIMP it's possible to make textures..

So you do it all manually?  Amazing O.O

TI Z80 / Re: zStart - an app that runs on ram clears
« on: November 04, 2011, 06:31:28 pm »
Another suggestion: I always liked the DCS hook that allowed you to immediately APD. it was ON + STAT. (Especially useful in program editor)
Uh, also I would like to be able to change the RAM clear message (you once made a program for it)
I wouldnt care if the app got two pages.

Zstart actually has it.  It's like a combination of Doors' and Mirage's ways; hold down On and tap Alpha.
That's omnicalc's hook, not zStart's
If only I knew about this before... 0.o

Now that I'm looking for it, turns out it's Omnicalc:
On+Alpha will power off the calculator but leave it at the current screen for resuming later.

This is a little late, but...

What's the theory behind that?  I've been trying to get aiming like that working since something like January...

Hm, if only there weren't that 25th tile there, then each level could be squeezed to 3 bytes instead of 4 x.x

Looking epic either way tho, keep it up ;D

This might help: http://clrhome.tk/tutorials/crash/
Just as a note--it's not the OS that handles the updating, it's the Boot code.  If the OS is corrupted it's still a relatively easy fix.
Have you tried the battery+del trick above?

btw it's pretty useful having two similar calcs, you can test out calc-calc programs, backup without using a computer, etc :)

Cool...

How badly did the old 84 crash?  Chances are it can be fixed..

Update soon, managed to get the stuff on the MSD8X drive without destroying the folder in the process ;D so just need to throw some level together and screenie and bam :)

I've been thinking of a new weapon idea..won't give much detail here.  I'll just say the name idea is "Comet", and it's more involved than the other weapons (well maybe not the blitz cannon but w/e) ;)

For some reason the "Reason for edit" doesn't show in SSL, nor is the instant quick reply instant (still refreshes the page) :\

News / Re: Omnimaga introduces instant quick-reply and enhanced CODE tags
« on: November 02, 2011, 06:18:14 pm »
I'm not sure if it's just me, but the line numbers on the code box seem to be off...
(firefox 7.0.1)

EDIT: hm the instant quick reply doesn't seem to work for me in SSL
+/- buttons in the edit page thing are awesome ;D (maybe this could also be useful for the sig editor in the Profile, it tends to get big :P)

EDIT2: the reason for edit doesn't show for me tho, it's just the +/- buttons immediately followed by "Last edit" and checkboxes :\ (also in SSL)
So it doesn't show in this topic, but it does in another topic ???

Axe / Re: What version of Axe would you recomend?
« on: November 01, 2011, 06:39:01 pm »
I think Crabcake no longer works on newer versions too, right?
Essence compiles fine for me in 1.0.5 and it uses it..
(the 83pbe-safe mode at least, idk about the faster mode)

Humour and Jokes / Re: [CONTEST] 42 signs you're addicted to calcs and Omni

Deep thought you should make a poll where we just choose between 42 of the signs in the other thread. It would be much easier to vote.
That would be a huge poll 0.o

As for rule #2, could signs be re-used from the other thread as long as we posted them?
