Felt like this was worth bumping, especially since we have some newer members.
I've updated my vote to include a Prizm 1414

Hm, I don't think I've seen a wabbitemu userbar yet.
(just noticed now, the top of the screen is kind of slanted..odd) 1415

I'd go for the prizm too, its community is only growing and it just keeps getting more and more promising. True, atm there's like 5 playable games out for it, but give it 6 months or so and it'll probably be amazing
Second would be the 84, it's prospering as well, and the platform's already "broken in" (so to speak) with a truckload of things to start off with. @sammymax iirc his parents are paying mostly for it, or he's returning an old one, so he'd only have to pay for part of it and/or the difference 1416
TI Z80 / Re: Gravity Guy« on: September 28, 2011, 08:28:27 pm »
All of Dimension Shift's levels are external and I didn't get around to optimizing it before the contest ended. Maybe when I finish Essence..
As for this game, I'd go with the second option, external levels. That way you can be sure that there aren't levels you never touch just taking up space, only the ones you'll play 1417

Got some help from builder on the etherpad, and now it's working
So once I get onto it, smoothscrolling, then the background thing*, then eventually AI *I might have multiple backgrounds for different levels. Not quite sure yet tho. 1419

Nice, this reminds me of the old plainjump for ion, but this one has better graphics
Keep it up! 1420
Elimination / Re: Elimination: A New FPS« on: September 27, 2011, 07:02:11 pm »
Hm, watching the screenshot, the aiming reticle or whatever it's called is kind of hard to see. Would it be possible to make one that sticks out more? Maybe an xoring scope or something...

If we had something themed to 2001 Omnimaga colors it would be pretty much like the colors in my avatarLol..that would be intersting. Hmm... how...btw, RFG is by an omnimaga member and is linked under the Misc section 1422

I just make them as they come out..
What I've been thinking of doing, tho..for those people who don't feel like switching out the ub every single time they update Axe, just make like "Axe 1.0 Omega user" or something, for every 0.1.0 increment (or whenever Quigibo changes the word in the release topic) Spoiler For slightly off-topic: 1423
Axe / Re: Tilemapping in Axe« on: September 27, 2011, 02:44:32 pm »
It's a bit of a necro but I'm having some problems with this.
For a level stored column-by-column instead of row-by-row, what changes would be made to the formulas? Would I switch the part where it multiplies width to multiplying my height? Switch x- and y-coordinates? Both? 1424
TI Z80 / Re: Essence« on: September 27, 2011, 02:41:53 pm »
I'm currently trying to get it working
Only thing I'm doing different is storing it column-by-column instead of the normal row-by-row, but it's bugging like crazy.. 1425
