If you're not using zStart, Krolypto should work, it has an option to password protect the memory (and startup,and a couple others) Tho I would encourage your brother to look up better ways to troubleshoot
My school's tech is terrible (although I made suggestions for the CAD lab which were taken, because the teacher who runs it happens to be awesome). We use MacOSX running Firefox 3 all over the school. The computers are terrible. The only plus to the Macs is that sometimes I am able to SSH into my machine at home. But most of the time terminal is locked...
I think our school is all xp and if firefox is even on there it's firefox 2, alongside IE7 (except for the teachers ofc, most of them seem to have windows 7 and chrome/firefox/etc )
As far as I've noticed, the only time downrating gets to be a problem is when someone gets downrated and they make a production out of it... I could be wrong, though.
I've been using the "new" 2gig for msd8x, and it's working fine (I ended up having to make this elaborate twist-tie thing to attach it to a key ring, but hey)
Is there a way to modify msd8x so it will autorun with a different drive type? With the old one, I'd just plug it in and it would open, now it doesn't

Still working on getting sidescrolling stuff to work, it's getting interesting I'm trying to figure out how to do the hud..maybe have it in a separate partial buffer and copy it over every frame or something.
Ended up getting a Sandisk 8gig (not the flimsy new model things but one of the classic ones, only cost ~$12 ) and digging up an old-but-barely-used 2gig (also sandisk) Still finding stuff that I forgot to put on the new 8gig from the old one: tilp install libs, Axe, "xchat", etc
Anyway it's great with this new one, usb2.0 like the old one but it runs like 3 times faster
As for the msd8x one, autorun won't work anymore but it's 2gig so yeah. (btw, vendor ID 0781 prod. ID 5530 for those who know how it can be fixed )
Protip: To make a userbar block extend as long as possible horizontally, put the whole thing in a [table][tr][td][/td][/tr][/table] (every bar in the same td).
Why would someone want to extend it so wide, tho? Is that how you did the narrow bars on the top/bottom?
