Maybe you could run it in wabbit, and see what its debugger says?

Also, some input routines.

How far does it get before it crashes?

Also the input command is really buggy, I've put it in test programs and got crashes as well.  I think there's an input alternative somewhere, in the routines thread or something...

You'll know when Ndless 3 comes out, it'll probably be on the front page of most TI calc programming forums (including omni) :P

I've heard it's in the debugging phase tho, so maybe a month or two?  Idk how close it is precisely, tbh :/

Is there a way to have the browser treat it as individual chars, instead of words?
Maybe after every char (for the textarea) use a different font, 1 "pixel" narrower and have some special space char (the 1 pix between the tokens) separate into not-words?

Idk how to explain it well..

The text area
automatically
makes newlines
to fit the words
without wrapping
them (like this)

But the picture
does not wrap, i
t just causes br
eaks in the midd
le of the word l
ike this.

Before, it wasn't automatically making newlines in the text area but now it is.
The display part isn't doing that, tho.

I used to use one called ALWAYS42. Fun.
Tho it's in BASIC so it uses an asm program called ONBLOCK :P
EDIT: So the textarea automatically makes newlines but the pic doesn't...

EDIT (Deep Thought): The number of fake shots in this thread's kinda getting ridiculous >.>

Nom.
Hopefully I'll have another [Axe] release tonight.
I'm assuming it'll be 1.0.3 so this in advance ;D

Is inverted text possible?

Selecting option 4 causes a crash, btw

btw Θ (alt+233) doesn't work.
See my first post:
The [ character is actually theta. Blame TI for that.
Tho that's not the only one...█ makes random junk as well. :P
Maybe a char table?

Axe / Re: 4*4 or 8*8 tiles?
« on: August 19, 2011, 02:31:40 pm »
I'd go for 4*4.  Whether it's easier to program for or it's because pretty much every platformer I've made is 4*4 is your call :P

Btw there's also quite a few 5*5 platformers..

EDIT: for anyone who's curious:

84+s are probably better to get, esp. with the extra speed (15mHz compared to the 83+'s 6mHz) and USB port.
