So I was reading through the readme (yay it was updated!) and I noticed this: Shell: This is the shell used to run asm programs, if you leave it at None, there is a chance That certain games that need a shell will crash. (I included the ION libraries, but for the Mirage and DCS libraries, you actually have to have them on your calc.) and remembered this TinyCarZ crashes upon exit, if a level is unarchived while playing the game. The cause of this crash is unknown, but may be due to MirageOS-specific coding, since the author says the game doesn't work in CrunchyOS either. So if I select "MirageOS" as a shell and run from homescreen, this problem is negated?

Yeah, that's what I'm doing once I find out where I packed my USB cable Unless I can find the pink one or something... And thanks EDIT: found cable, and done. Also updated zStart. Is it just me or does a large part of axe coding as of late consist of upgrading and downgrading soon afterwards?

So this is a photo from before the 84 was officially released, or is this a new one?
I'm guessing boot 0.33s means it's old..

* Darl181 is back! ...again These absences should be over now, summer's almost over and school's starting soon. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get much development done at camp. Whether it was because of axe 1.0.2 repeatedly giving ERR:BAD FLASH or because of a scoutmaster opposed to electronics is your call. (read: both ) Anyway, finally back at home and I should be able to get my schedule stabilized again, including coding. \o/

I think TI would have problems with Casio about a Sd-lector in a calculator.
That shouldn't really be too much of a problem, SD cards are pretty universal after all. Calcs, cameras, GPSes, etc As for the J04, this looks likely to be something huge

Or Quick Modify. These are looking pretty nice. Which ones in your sig did you make yourself?

I recently upgraded to axe 1.0.2. After a full mem clear and OS resend, I'm still getting bad flash errors... For the record all that I have installed is zStart and Omnicalc through zStart.
EDIT: I'm wondering what brought about this bad flash thing in the first place. What change happened that caused this (though I'm guessing it's from the re-write)? Is there a way to work around it?

Leaving today for camp, will be back Friday. Bringing calc ofc, and this time it won't crash every 5 minutes so I'll actually be able to get something done I'm thinking of working on the physics shump that I started about 2 weeks ago, so look for something relating to that in about a week

Added zStart bar, shuffled around a bit and added a slightly edited ticalc.org bar. Also switched axe 0.5.3 bar for axe 1.0.2. (edited this bar to be 20pix tall, attached below)

Thank you, I've answered that question so many times I wasn't going to respond
OS 2.43 is the first OS to not reset the clock on manual resets, the previous ones did. However, hard resets do reset the clock. In fact, I believe that was all that was changed for 2.43.
Ok, good to know (I'm assuming "hard resets" are crashes from an ASM prog/app/2.5* MP?) The programs always write back if they are changed. I run a 16 bit checksum on them, and if the checksums before and after don't match, I write the program back. In ram, the program gets written back every time, but that's entirely different. Also, I didn't add an option because I feel like you would always want the program to write back if it was changed.
Also good to know. I've been (for lack of a better term) messed up many a time by getting some "great" high score in a game like Devrays or TetrisM, then finding out later calcutil had writeback disabled (also the calcutil settings kept getting messed up remotely from something or another, so even if I enabled it I'd check it a week or so later to find that it spontaneously changed ) EDIT: I've been thinking of making a zStart userbar. I have no idea what the design aspects of it would be, tho...any ideas toward it? EDIT2: minor spelling error that's been there for a while: under the picture thing there's "Refrest Delay" instead of "Refresh".

Hmm, I've been having problems with Silver...it "saves" but it's corrupted quite a bit. Won't load. Looking at the instructable linked from IRC, it should work with a watch battery (admittedly I have yet to see a CR2025, but it's lot like I've looked around either )

I'm guessing you mean this game? What would it be like? (Animated? Monochrome?) EDIT: "zStart User" see below EDIT2: single pixel image. To stretch and take care of conflicts between *19 and *20 bars http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=8057.0;attach=8907;image Attempt to use epic failed, nvm that EDIT3: (edited this bar to be 20pix tall, attached below here) EDIT4: mini Red Fanny Pack userbar for our resident fishbot. necroEDIT5: zStart 1.3.000.
