I guess I technically could make the calculator wait for 10 seconds after turning off to show the picture, but that's how you show people your cool picture . When I turn it on, I usually just press ON twice, it works. Maybe an option? Ok, so that bug of yours, that's not really a bug as much as I would guess calcutil does not set up a normal edit buffer. But I don't know, so I'll look into it. But that one wasn't my fault
cool, i'll just not use that until it's fixed SquidgetX, that's caused either you tried to run the program rather than compile it, or you tried to compile something that is not an axe source.
that happened to me too...after i explicitly installed axe hooks (and compile for ion) even, on+enter in exec menu

Epic. Just...epic. Now all that's needed to replace CalcUtil is running archived programs [/feature request] Also auto-completes. What exactly does this mean? EDIT: imo, it's perfectly fine if this crosses the page boundary. worth every byte Whoa, 1500 posts.. EDIT2: random feature request. For the picture showing on startup, can it be made so the pic only shows if the calc was off, say, >10 seconds? What's happened to me multiple times was I would power down the calc to have omnicalc save the RAM and when I turn it back on the picture shows. ...then I'm wondering for a bit why the button I pressed after ON didn't do anything EDIT: bug with label finding. See screenie. read: in screenie, I typed "overwrote hooks." that should be "chained hooks"

It's been my "Personal Text" since last year or something, but w/e I've noticed that a good part of the threads I post in, however healthy and alive they were before I came along, suddenly die. Not many "Thread Killers of Tomorrow" around here, I suppose. EDIT: changed to "Stopper". Not as violent of a connotation that way...I hope...

* Darl181 wonders if it will include common q/a, ie how to use TiLP and things like that...or just a link to ticalc.org's "basics" section

I installed Omnicalc (options entries menu, RAM recovery, base conversion, lowercase letters, thousands separators, quick apps and hide finance app) and it disabled this. And vice-versa. Just putting the bug report out there Awesome tool btw, when it works

Another few requests...regarding the special weapons. Can a check be implemented to determine which weapon/upgrade you get from a pickup? More than once I got the ground-shooting thing four times in a row, and that was all I had against the fourth boss Also, can it be made so only flying enemies (not tanks) can spawn the pickup thing? I've been, for lack of a better term, screwed over multiple times by a tank spawning one after it got hit by the ground shooter when it's <5 pixels away from the left of the screen, and/or when you reach that part in level 4 ( link to spot in youtube vid) where the bottom tank spawns a power-up and it goes right into the part sticking up directly to the left of it, instantly destroying it One last thing--why do you have to shoot a power-up to get the weapon? Shouldn't merely picking it up be enough? That's about it, with changes/fixes... Is a level editor planned?

It seems to me there's some difference between the version uploaded on omni and the one on ticalc. I tried the one on omni and it wouldn't let me go to the next level but the one from ticalc.org works fine (in that one respect at least ) EDIT:Aichi, you uploaded the game into the BASIC section. That might cause a problem... If possible, a place like this http://www.ticalc.org/pub/83plus/asm/games/ would be a better place to put it EDIT2: Feature requests... 1) Make name input default to spaces, or have it so when a certain key is typed the current selection turns into a space. Atm it takes about a whole minute to type ina name, and it's sort of confusing at first (My first recorded score is under the name "DAAAAAAA" 2) In-game teacher key. Feigns calc turning off, but is really just a pause with a Shade(0) before it. Pressing ON ends program and returns shading to the norm.
