I'm trying to update the ASCII program from before.
The option I plan on including is storing any one of the following: Number, Hex number, Charactor, Token to the TIOS var Ans.
How would I do this? I've been able to create Ans as a string, but the IRC convo about how to do it got kind of confusing so I'm making a post instead.
Off-topic, but Kirby's Dreamland suddenly seems less graphic-intensive after taking advantage of some new options... Makes it a bit easier to play actually
Introduction: TI-Boy SE is a Game Boy emulator (no Game Boy Color support) for the TI-83+SE, TI-84+, and TI-84+SE calculators. Do not expect incredible compatibility. This was rewritten from scratch since the Alpha version, specifically to support newer TI-84+/TI-84+SE calculators (which have smaller RAM chips). TI-83+ and TI-Nspire are not supported, and never will be.
I guess this probably isn't it, but there's three files called "PINBALL" in the folder (there's an .82p, an .83p, and an .8xp)...you sent the 8xp right?
Still having problems with inserting...fsr it makes a new "181" after each level, making it so the game and editor thinks it's reached the end of the level. Also there still seems to be empty bytes
I'm wondering, which commands count from zero and which don't. The tokens in question are Copy( and the memkit tokens New( and Delete( . I'm pretty sure they all count from zero, I'm just asking here to make sure
I am aware that the camera jumps around in that case (which happens to be because the air sprites replace Kirby in the sprite list temporarily). I plan on making a smarter sprite follow feature in future version.
started FA-124 selected calc model "fx-9860G series/fx-9750GII/fx-7400GII" turned on calc, set link settings (menu, alpha, E) to USB, On, and S.Capt plugged in calc hit F2 for recieve mode clicked "Connect" in fa-124 went through install process, didn't have to second time waited through dirlisting, more the stuff on calc the longer it takes pressed AC on calc (seems counter-intuitive, I know) selected screen capture on computer, window popped up. left it open. did 2nd + capture (7) on calc thing sends, window saying "screen capturing.." closed, pic popped up just realized you can click the camera icon as well, did it again, this time from another part of the OS clicked on one of the images, selected file→save on the top (right-clicking did nothing) attached to this post yay
Personally I use calcutil for that, but the possibility to run it using zStart would be cool for some. Maybe, you could choose whether to recall a certain token or run an app/prog?
Tried it again, and the link console just seemed to freeze. A few times, an "FF" appeared on the bottom half inverted, so I'm guessing it was part of the
I have an idea: could there be a key combo that writes "prgm"? I might be alone on this, idk, but i have so many programs on my calc that typing the program name is faster than finding it, even faster than using alpha+letter in the list. Getting to the prgm token in Catalog takes a fair amount of scrolling, though, even if you jump straight to P or Q.
Seconded.
It looks like in a future version there could be custom key assignments, one assignment of which could hopefully be prgm.
And custom-assigning the on+sin/cos/tan keys, I can probably do that. Although it might be more useful if I made it the number keys rather than the trig functions.
Make sure FA-124 is acknowledging that the calc is connected. Then, on the calc, press 2nd and then Capture (the 7 key, iirc) It should send a pic from the calc to fa 124 and it should pop up. Some parts left out, look a few posts down EDIT: this explains it a lot better than I do
1) Firstly, connect your calculator to the computer and open up the FA-124 software.
2) When, on your calculator, it mentions 'Receiving ...', you press AC to cancel. Press 'EXIT' to get back to the main screen
3) Then, on the FA-124 software, you must press the Screen Capture Icon on the Calculator side of the exchange window. It looks like a window with a camera in front of it. Ignore the fact that it remains at 0%, just do not cancel the dialog box.
4) Then, navigate the calculator to the screen that you want to capture.
5) You must then press 'SHIFT' followed by '7'. This initiates the 'CAPTURE' command. Your dialog box on the FA-124 Software should then start working. Your image will appear on the 'Exchange window' screen
6) Then go to 'File' and Click 'Save As'. Choose an appropriate place to save your graphic and then do so.
