TI-Boy SE - Game Boy Emulator For TI-83+SE/84 / Re: Game Compatibility
« on: April 21, 2011, 11:17:41 pm »
Smarter sprite following would be great, it's fun when you're zoomed in all the way in SMB then pick up a star :P
Tried final fantasy adventure in wabbit (84PBE) and it was blank.  Like, nothing happened for a couple minutes on the max speed.  ON quit, tho, so idk

A bug with the compiler: now the app is placed to the folder one level up from the one containing makeapp.exe

The first two are for the nes, so they aren't ti-boy compatible :P

Maybe the nes emulator on the nspire, tho...

A new idea for whoever, really big project: RC Pro Am.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rc_pro_am
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R.C._Pro-Am_II
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_R.C._Pro-Am ← works with ti-boy, btw

Think TinyCarZ, but the viewpoint off to a side (sort of 3d, but not really) and with upgradable cars and weapons.  And drifting, probably the best aspect.
Good luck, and can't wait ;)

EDIT: screenies of what the game looks like, wasn't able to get an animated gif so oh well :P

Nice ;D

I remember when I was in fourth grade or something, some other kid was bragging about he supposedly made some comic called "ninja guardian" that sold for 'gazillions'  to newspapers worldwide...something that big deserved a parody.
For about two or three years a friend and I made these "Ninja Rabbit" comics, I should find some of them...

Other Calculators / Re: Do you have a Casio calc?

Well, it took me a while going between google translate and the pdf written in french, but you basically get the os to err then send a 9860gii OS.
If someone who can speak french translates it, it would be ten times easier, but it's doable.

@annoyingorange what won't work for you?  Is it still on the PC side, making a ROM an app, or is it sending it, or the app itself on-calc?
If it's on the PC side, making the ROM, did you try the other method, not the drag-and-drop one?  That drag-and-drop's kind of hit-and-miss for me, but going in the folder using command prompt manually always works.  Another way I found was to double-click makeapp.exe, then type the stuff in.

Also, what's the ROM name you're trying to compile (is that the right word for it?), it might be too long or as calc84 said, might have spaces.

Some specifics might make it easier for people to help, just saying ;)

random fact: Netham45's the only member of the lobster group (or was there another one?  I don't remember)

Welcome to omni, by the way.

You can do what I did for the Tio menu, and use Rect( commands.  Not sure how much detail you're going for though...
