He admires it. Turns it over. Slips it into his hand. Drops his hands beneath the table. Switches the pen to his left hand and drops the pen into his pocket. Before putting both hands back on the table as blithely and innocently as you please. Then, he resumes intently listening to the translation through his earpiece.

The prizm is a lot more open than the nspires, TI's now made up some 2048-bit signing keys... Also the MP OSes are horribly unstable--I had 2.55 on my calc for just a few hours and got multiple crashes and a BLOD without even leaving the homescreen
Also, the nspire's 84+ emu has multiple errors, and some things won't work properly iirc
The 92+'s a) replaced with the voyage 200 and b) doesn't have much going for it, iirc the community for that line is kind of dead.
The nspire is gaining in popularity, probably b/c of games like ndoom but most of what seems to be going on is hard-core hacking atm
Personally I'd go with the 83+/84+ /SE 's (z80 series), they also have a growing community, but the base is already established and it's fairly easy to get started. Also there's a ton of helper programs (and games) for the z80 series and programs like Axe Parser.
I'm in a "programming" class as of now... what we're using, alice, is hardly programming tho...everything's drag-and-drop and taken care of for you. Fortunately, we're almost done with this and will soon 'graduate' to...logo!
I think in the AP class we're supposed to have real coding, java or something, but still.
