That would be a lot of trouble to go about...a ton of the engine is based on the velocity and the counter which controls the gravity.
I may go for a smoother physics system at some point, but in the meantime I'm concentrating on tiles and sets

Yeah, i've heard it's a classic of some sorts.  The only reason I've seen it was because one of my siblings found this in comcast's on demand for free and really liked that song

Well, when you get the time to work on it...

Some things that would be nice to see:
• Option for open ceiling
• Different scoring limit, maybe the differences between total scores, again an option
• Options to have different fields--maybe volleyball-style (if it touches the ground on your side, you lose and vice-versa) or soccer-style (nets on the sides)
• Fix if possible: sometimes the ball goes through the player's triangle thingy, also it occasionally bounces out of a basket or goes in through the bottom/side
• Options for AI difficulty levels
• More variety in what the commentator says, low priority but still "And the round ends with a ball in the PEG." gets a bit old after a while
• Pause/teacher key

Just my two cents, it'll be great to see what this finishes up as.
