General Calculator Help / Re: 84 Plus...six apps...out of memory...help?
« on: January 24, 2011, 08:30:43 pm »
Didn't work...it showed the main menu, I pressed "more" and it crashed
I can't copy it to the calc (it freezes on "transferring") and running it from msd8x crashes.

What's "console", and why is it making strange characters?
It's making these weird symbols which scroll up the screen...and it's still going...

Okay, I got calcsys on.   It only shows the apps I (legitimately) have.

btw I was only able to get calcsys on after I deleted mirageos, so the 6-app limit isn't broken

If calcsys is a 1-page app, I should be able to msd8x it.
Just a minute...

General Calculator Help / 84 Plus...ten apps...out of memory...help?
« on: January 24, 2011, 06:54:39 pm »
I have an 84+ that only accepts a limited number of apps.  Before, the limit was 10.  Now, it won't send any past SIX.
I tried to update axe, tilp deleted it, and won't send any apps whatsoever.
I've tried re-sending the OS (which, by the way, doesn't work now), garbage collecting, defragging, pretty much everything and it just doesn't work.
 :banghead:
OS, 2.43
Base, 2.43
Boot, 1.02
hardware stuff: S-0305B

I've been having this problem for months, and now it's even worse.

Spacerun, with menus.

Things are pretty much explained in-game.
Now complete with a poorly-written sci-fi themed conflict :P

When i get the time, I'll re-name this thread something like "Darl181's projects" or something rather than make a new one...
I don't have the means to upload my programs I've been making (stupid pxoxy--it's not working properly--still looking for an alternative :P) but I was able to go through RFG.
Have a screenshot.  Hopefully more to come.

EDIT: found one ;D

more to come on monday...

1120: You were surprised that this thread kind of died
1121: You made the first post in this thread for the year 2011 (w00t?)
1122: You use Omni through a proxy
Code: [Select]
1123: You've spent weeks looking for a better proxy--say, one that displays images and allows you to modify your posts1124: You occasionally put subtle hints in some of your posts...

It's nice to be back.
I've been kind of busy over the break, and other than spacerun I've also made "Axpirin" and a graphic thing called beziers.

Over the break, I was wondering if I should just make a thread for all the things I make, instead of a new topic for each one...

IMHO, the 3-type is the hardest.  I guess everyone's at different levels though.

For after the break, I finished Space Sun...monday...

Other Calculators / Re: What calc for christmas?

If i could get one, it would be a blue or black 84PSE with the extra RAM pages ;D

In your case, I'd go for the prizm.

And on the topic of christmas, see you in two weeks next year :P

1125: If you need to remember something, you just put it in the calc's homescreen, you'll without a doubt find it there.

The sizes can range, four to six different sizes, up to 16*16.  Monochrome will work.

Thanks in advance ;D

Yeah, it took about a half hour to get it working right, it kind of seems like it's doing stuff on purpose, but the running away is all random :P
Forgot to mention, this is my first AI.

What I could do with this...two-player via link cable...I only have one calc though, it would be hard to test :(
