Made it on wabbitemu, here's the source
Code: [Select]
.THEGAME YOU LOSE!!!
"THE GAME"→Str1
Clrdraw
Fix 7
Output(8,7,Str1
Fix 6
StoreGDB
Repeat getKey(15)
For(A,0,100
RectI(0,rand^64,96,1
End
DispGraph
End

I know the string isn't necessary, but it makes it easier to modify.

Good idea jhgenius
The World's Hardest Game
The World's Hardest Game 2
And also, I'm not limiting myself to the flash version.  Notice the "different enemy types" option and level editor :)

Wow, Rick astley is everywhere :P
I'm seriously thinking of changing the text in mine to THE GAME
It's hard to read, anyway.  People would only lose if they looked really close at it.
Then they would lose, just like I always lose when I see netham's avatar :P

Upon the start of play, a little 3*3 square appears to the right of the player sprite (what the player controls).
The height changes according to the player.  Meaning that if you jump, the 3*3 square jumps as well.
And sometimes when I drop a shadow or something it moves to a different part of the screen left or right, always staying at the same height.
Say, I start a new game.  The rouge square is a few pixels to the right of the player sprite.  But I drop a shadow, and it jumps more than halfway across the screen.

You said you hard-coded the grayscale?  I wonder if that's part of it...
Just as a curiosity that might be related, what's the player sprite supposed to look like?  Is it supposed to be a solid square, or an outline?  I ask that because there's two (solid) squares, they stay at the same height, and they xor each other to make a sort of outline.

Ah.  It is supposed to be an outline.
Dj made a GIF a while back.

Mine shows up as two solid squares.

I got a video of the bug with my digital camera.  Problem is, it's 13,219 kb.

I voted for doors too ^^
Just to clarify, for now there can only be one door/key max.  Unless I'm able to come up with an easy way to do multiple.

I've been wondering about the Circle( command, ever since I tried to implement certain enemy movements in TWHG.
Can the radius be negative?
If not, will abs( work?
If neither, what detrimental effects might a negative-value radius cause?

lol DJ you seem to always vote for the one that's being added as we speak. :)

I'll probably post an update once I get the code cleaned up a bit, it's a mess from when I tried circles :P
Expect it late this week or early next week.

Hmm, I'm wondering if there's a way to make the internets thing smaller, w/o putting it in a spoiler
It takes up something like half the sig :P

And DJ, that spoiler is epic.

"die"
"I don't know how to 'die'"
"Dang it, you stupid turtle!  Do you know how to do ANYTNING???"
"I don't know how to 'dang'"
...and it goes on

"Away from house, please take one"  seems to be interpreted as "dump into bag as you please."
Maybe next year you could set up a fake camera or something..."CAREFUL, KIDS! I'M WATCHING YOU!"

Yeah, I noticed that
thanks, though
*darl181 reads above
*darl181 loses the game
*darl181 starts getting ideas >:D

I tried creating a rickroll, but I couldn't make it fit....dang
"THE GAME."
That would fit.

Also, I did the effect in the avatar but horizontal and vertical at the same time.  It was kind of psychedelic.  (good thing FF has a spell checker :P)
I'll re-create it in wabbit.
