TI-Nspire / Re: nCraft (3D minecraft-like game for the nspire)
« on: September 20, 2012, 06:03:23 pm »
It runs without problems on a real CX :)
An idea..since the map isn't drawn pretty far forward might it be possible to have a mini-map that's a slice of the current height's layer or something?
Also yeah, the A and Z are a bit out of the way :P

Edit: random thought- is the map drawn all the way around the player or just in front if it?

Lua / Re: Look what my Nspire can do

Looking pretty good :)

I just can't wait for the day when, ndless or not, we're able to use a normal wifi or bluetooth dongle for this sort of thing so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for wireless ;D

And this is with a good signal 0.o

Edit: and this on the wired "desktop" (laptop with a bunch of stuff plugged into it :P)

I'm pretty sure that there's going to be something different between sources for the cx and prizm. I could be wrong tho, having barely ever touched lua :P

Edit: read first post more closely

Compatibility layers for Nspire and LuaFX programs may be coming soon.
Sometime in the future then ;)

There was going to be three of these, it was the PET project.  It was dumped for the nspire iirc.

General Discussion / Re: Does anyone like jazz?
« on: September 09, 2012, 01:34:32 am »
Only if it's coolio.
*rimshot*

More seriously, I was in concert band for ~7 years, and always liked how good the jazz band sounded :)
Never really listened to it outside of the concerts when I was stuck in the building for x hours, tho :P

Edit: now that I'm thinking about it I was first trumpet in "You've got a friend in me" in some Toy Story 2 suite..was pretty fun

Pretty cool :D

Tho if you watch me playing almost any not-calc-port Mario game and..um..yeah.  Tho admittedly I'm better at racing games than platformers, or at least I like to think I am :P

There's a domain for every country :P  ie .us in the US and .fr in France.

Regarding the topic..wow. I'm hoping it's caught by most if not all the large antivirus programs out there.
