It's a WIP, but I might as well post it because after this it'll probably be mostly small changes and messing around (and finding out where all those LargeButton/GridButton/SquareButton/etc properties turn up in the OS 0.o) Haven't delved very deep into the OS stuff, so if anything sticks out/is wrong let me know I guess

I've run into this problem on an almost daily basis (using google as an alternative to the slow forum search), and it sounds like a great idea Why is the search so slow, anyway? 0.o Ever since we changed servers (and changed something iirc?) it's been like that.

I got the same problem as Reo, and now I'm having fun trying to re-make the stuff I had before..wheee I'm liking how it saves where you were in the menu, that makes it a lot faster. Is it possible to change the background and/or text colors in the calculator app? I have this dark scrollbar going and it clashes pretty hard

I mean just doing normal math. This is a non-cas. If it's on the normal ones then TI's done a pretty good job of hiding it and not documenting it at all b/c after looking through menus and settings for days I've found nothing that appears to change it. (why didn't they put in something as simple as a F↔D key...) OT edit: what's with this thread breaking my sig... 0.o

A bit late for the contest now but the hardware problems are more persistent lately, just after re-taping it it was still crashing on the slightest bump Not sure if I'm going to be able to keep programming on the 84..maybe this would be a good time to pick up on C for the Prizm and/or CX..idk. Hoping at some point to be able to finish some of the projects I have laying around, but it's pretty shaky atm.

It just depends on your opinion. With Casio calcs, you get a pretty good piece of hardware (at a great price) and a company that cares about programmability etc. They go to the point of joining forums like this one and someone answers questions and gets feedback. And actually does something with that feedback, leading to stuff like OS bugs being fixed. With TI calcs, the hardware is hit-and-miss (the CX seems to have some pretty good stuff, but the still-mainstream 83 series is running on the decades-old Z80) and they don't really give a snap about anyone who isn't a teacher. And there's the high prices. Afaict the only reason TI's still floating is because of the monopoly they seems to have on schools, which I guess can be a benefit in classes with teachers that don't know how to teach without being dependent on them. Personally I have both a CX and a Prizm, and I'm kind of disappointed with how the CX does math (it does stuff like turning division problems into fractions and spitting the same thing back out at you) and symbol input. Also the mouse is kind of wonky, popping up randomly and clicking when you don't want it to. [/opinion] As an afterthought aren't there topics about this, even a tutorial somewhere?

EDIT: Darn, shmibs already made a set of banners for the new membergroups, and they look almost identical to yours
lol nice Did he use the Narkisim font as well? (end of this post) (and mental note: gimp fails hard at small-size fonts, paint.net ftw for that) Regarding the permissions I'll send a pm.

Do the changes apply to existing staff, then? For me some random buttons/checkboxes have disappeared, differing by board. Anyway glad to hear about the anti-spam measures, it's been kind of out of hand lately Edit: made badges to match the changes Not sure if Support Staff should be on one line or two, though. It fits anyway.

Made a countdown thing for..idk? Let's call it dramatic purposes big detailedI'm not going to be able to get my entry in, when something as simple as taking off the slidecase crashes the calc even after putting tape and stuff on it it kind of gets in the way

Ick. so. many. options. Could you name them a bit recognisable and put some headers in? (I prefer the last above the first)
Those names are taken directly from the list. I'm guessing they're part of the OS itself, and the editor just lists and changes them. Most of them you can (somewhat) tell what they are just by looking at the names, anyway.. And if you don't know for sure and care enough to find out you can change it to some obvious color and look around

Just had a random thought..did anybody here use Anycolor back in the Firefox 3 days? Basically, you give it base, accent and text colors and it puts them to use accordingly. Maybe something like that could be a sort of "lite" version of the editor..? Edit: haven't been playing with this much, and most of what I've messed with so far is self-explanatory..I'll put them out anyway --- HomeScreenTitleGradientStart / PageSorterAndDocBrowserTitleBarGradientStart HomeScreenTitleGradientEnd / PageSorterAndDocBrowserTitleBarGradientEnd HomeScreenBorder HomeScreenBackground HomeScreenHorizontalDividerBar HomeScreenSectionsTitles HomeScreenSelectedOptionBackground / HomeScreenUnselectedOptionBackground HomeScreenTextWithoutFocusEnabled HomeScreenTextWithoutFocusDisabled HomeScreenFocusGradientStart HomeScreenFocusGradientEnd ... TooltipText TooltipRectangle TooltipBackground

--- * Darl181 wishes there was a way to page up/down I'm starting with the DocBrowser stuff, also the Scrollbar. Edit: Noticed this got linked, and it never really got anywhere so I made this for whoever to add to: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApuMx3pmUebodFZkZkhEWjZpdERCd1VNYzNhcUxsTnc#gid=0
