Does the sharp have any function like I/O and CTRL for programming and does it have a signifiant (read: at least 2000 bytes) amount of memory so a decent game can be made?
I haven't seen any programming stuff 0.o unless you mean Sharp graphing calcs?

General Calculator Help / Re: programming help

For Axe, there's commands list that comes with it.  It's also here.
It should help to read through documentation.pdf that also comes in the zip (or here).  That'll probably help the most with the programming terms etc ;)

For Basic commands, you might want to check TI-Basic developer, it has a good list, and it explains what the commands do as well.

@Darl181: Where'd you get the Sharp calculator from?
The local Kmart :P
It's pretty cool..it's kind of like the TI:Casio relationship but on the level of the 30s (lower price, more features) and with a Sharp.
ie. those four keys on top you can store keyboard shortcuts or variables into.  Also there's a quiz mode, and built-in base conversion :)
What I'd get over the 535 tho is the 516, it can solve equations and stuff.

What is the BS button for O.O
In reality, it's backspace.
(alternatively, use your imagination >:D )

Figured I'd make a group shot.  Left-to-right regardless of height, they're in the order I got them.
Ti 30XIIS, 84PBE, Sharp EL-W535B, fx-9750GII (hacked up to 9860GII), Prizm, CX

A WILD THUMBNAIL APPEARS

(click ^ for larger image)
(or freakishly large)

Feel free to ignore the dust etc all over the place, just swept through the area for the shot and it scattered :P

OmnomIRC Development / Re: σ

I brought it up on IRC a day or so back, it 403s because google's bot was setting off resource-heavy stuff iirc.

As for what it looks like it's just your normal missing-image type of thing.

I can say that they do lend out the calcs here (California), ranging from 82s to 84pses. Some of them seem to know about linking and such, idk whether it's because they looked up the calc on google or saw me playing stuff (also msd8x) :P  Tho I did point a dozen-plus people to ticalc.org, maybe it spread that way.

There's some people who have their own calcs too. :)

2898:You don't care about Ram clears because whenever a Ram clear happens the time it takes you to restore it is a half-second on average. :P
(extra Ram pages + zStart + Omnicalc + Basic Menu() )

News / Re: TI-84 Plus emulator released for the TI-84 Plus

Yo dawg, I heard you liked emulators in emulators so I put a 84+ in your TI-Nspire emulator in 84+ mode in VirtualPC so you can emulate emulators while you emulate emulators.

Maybe someone could make something like this for the ABLE..  Idk how hard that would be tho.

Any other ways to dump a ROM?
Try rom8x, it worked for me.
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/373/37341.html
It doesn't dump it per se, it makes appvars which you send to the computer and put together using cmd.  No special linking stuff needed :)

I remember getting some runercode to shift the buffers, tho iirc it started from the top instead of the bottom.
I can't find the stuff in the irc logs, I guess I'll check my etherpads and stuff to see if they're in the chatlogs/code.

TI-Nspire / kArmTI - TI-Nspire emulator with skin
« on: June 09, 2012, 09:19:56 pm »
So all that's needed is a re-name? Odd that it wouldn't work with what's basically the same thing...
Anyways, it's working.  I think it might have been working before, tho..? b/c the black and white boot-up screen is the same as before (it was kind of misleading, I thought something had gone wrong so I closed it :P).

I've been trying to get this running as per this post, but I can't find out how to make the boot1.raw. I have the boot1.img from polydumper (just took off the .tns), but neither 7zip nor imgdump have any idea what to do with it (while opening boot2.img the same way works fine).  As far as I can tell there are basically no directions related to this anywhere.

How do I make/get the .raw?

Edit: copied syntax from cmd:
F:\calc\nspire\nspire_emu>nspire_emu.exe /1=boot1.raw /MX /PB=boot2.img /PO=TI-NspireCX-3.1.0.392.tco

Might it be worth it to make skins for the 84 Pockets (.fr and SE) as well?  Tho it would be kind of redundant :P
