Figured I may as well post my idea earlier than later.  What the title says. I'm thinking something like Luminara, but with other ships shooting back, maybe wingmen flying with you, etc.. I'm thinking of doing something like this in Essence, so who knows they may end up combined after the contest  Coding from the ground up ofc, but I'll be using this as a reference for some physics stuff. Still thinking up a name, tho I've been playing with something like Conflict_9. Or I might just make up a planet name for the setting  Edit: and there might will more than likely be smoothscrolling , not sure yet.

EDIT: so library's like xlib are allowed to work with? It doesn't affect much on the coding but just speeds it a bit up if you use graphics
xlib is hybrid basic, so yes.

Temple Run.
After looking around a bit, it actually looks pretty simple. The hardest part would be the graphics, but I'm guessing it could be some sort of raycaster?
Then with trees and stuff added on..

Rough draft (very rough at that) of a comic I'm doing for english class. I haven't yet stuffed it full of random vocab etc, but I think I'm going to keep the general plot. Not asked/said but seen: About a third of the teachers at my school have " smartboards". It has this calibration thing where you touch 9 dots, one after the other, so the board knows where to tell the computer where the finger/whatever touching it is. Some of the students pretty much touch the dots at random, often about a foot off. Then they wonder why it's not working.

My old programming teacher actually showed that one to the class. It seemed to work pretty well  Actually now that I think about it it was the "Good Code" one, tho she had the support one outside of her door. Normally I ignore that type of stuff, tbh On top of that my dad is kind of good at computer stuff so normally I just let him fix things around the house and our school has some half-decent IT people (I say half-decent because the programming teachers +other electives were laid off last year >:| ) Edit: remembered one: I was playing wolfenstein on a 9860gii (well, hacked 9750gii but who at school would know the difference anyway) and some guy walked up and asked if I had Halo on it as well. Also trying to convince people that programming!=hacking.

Well there are dozens upon dozens of rickrolls out there, for better or for worse.  Now to wonder how many links this breaks all over the net... (btw in regards to the pm, there was a typo (it's oHg not oJg) and you can always click the button saying "youtube" in the lower-right to go to the page)
