I think that it should have an option to turn on/off the little loading bar at the bottom. As nice as it is, it just takes a lot more time to compile.
Request: Option to turn off the progress bar and just show percentages like in old versions for faster compiling, or alternatively have it be off by default for zoomed compiles
Its essentially the same speed, it takes almost the same amount of time to display the percentage bar as it did just displaying the percent. However, this can be sped up by maybe 15% if I display nothing at all, but that's a bad experience for the end user since they feel like it freezes. It wouldn't be that much faster anyway, its not like its double the speed or anything.
The bar itself shouldn't make that big of a difference, it's probably something in the compiler itself.

Iirc you need at least one post to have an avatar/sig/etc, so that shouldn't be a problem. E: you need the 1000 posts to have a custom title. You click on Profile in the bar thingy at the top of the page (Home, News, etc) and then Forum Profile Information on the left. For adding the images, you use the [img][/img] bbcode tag with the URL of the image inside, or if you want put the whole thing in a Url itself. So this... [url=http://www.omnimaga.org][img]https://www.omnimaga.org/Themes/omnimaga4/images/omnimagabanner2010.png[/img][/url]does this..

So I've been spriting some of the possible vehicles used by both you and whatever you're fighting. Some notes: fighter plane - can't get the wing to look right >.< SkyFish - looks like a fish tank - turret is drawn separately, might have to do weird masking stuff unless I pxl-off or similar some truck - infantrymen etc come out flying lobster - car - maybe you could hide behind it or something? Not pictured: helicopter - paratroopers etc Edit: Idea: ability to drive/fly abandoned/defeated (but not destroyed) vehicles. Also brainstorming methods of invasion, liking the idea of freefalling

How about exchanging "night" for "knight"? It's been a while but it was used pretty often..

It's just that nobody's sat down and coded one yet. It should be possible, tho...

It would be nice for prizm users to have something like ndless on their prizms. Maybe you or another prizm programmer can see what needs to be done to run c on the prizm.
It's not too hard, Casio isn't like TI Iirc it was figured out in the first month or so and there haven't been any moves to block it since

I get the constant run indicator after Ram Clears too, but the cursor blinks in that. Is it a flag or something, to tell if it should be going (separate from enabled/disabled)?

If you mean compile just after quitting from the editor, then no; Axe can't do that on its own. As mentioned Zstart can do that sort of thing, tho.

How about some sort of paratrooper game? An idea I had earlier was to use Zedd or similar to get swinging-from-parachute physics and such, and/or maybe instead of controlling a turret you control a tank.

By emulator you mean the Nspire Student Software right? I don't know how it would be possible to install it on a flash drive, but I don't see much of a purpose - Goplat's emulator is perfectly fine for me.
I mean the Prizm emulator. I don't have an Nspire, nor do I plan on getting one

Let's all migrate from TI to Casio!
Hm, maybe people could start putting these in their sigs if TI stays with the way they're traipsing along now. :TI: Also I sent him a question of my own a few days back, about the ability to install the emulator on a flash drive: Hi, a question about the emulator, the license of which is offered in this promotion. Can it be installed on a flash drive or similar, so you can bring it with you? If not, is this planned for the future? Hi <snip>, That's a fascinating question. Let me respond with a question of my own, since I don't often install software on flash drives: wouldn't something like that require zero copy protection? The ability to do something like that would clearly be useful, but if it short-circuited our ability to market our product then it would amount to shooting ourselves in the foot. Standard copy protection as I understand it would either require a registry entry (which would require installation on a machine, not a flash drive) OR would require a disc in the drive (which would make a flash drive installation pointless, I believe). Am I missing other options? I hope these questions make sense and I really am interested in your response. Kind Regards, Nathan Aside from how amazing it is to get a response from an actual person rather than an auto-responder hooked up to Cleverbot or something (insert :TI: smiley again )..any ideas? The only sort of thing I can come up with is some sort of ID that you register somewhere, kind of like the calc's serial number. Perhaps part of the validation process would involve checking some db for the same ID? But then that might require internet access... I'm not too familiar with this sort of stuff
