I don't like them. The idea is awesome but knowing google they'll track everything we do.
I don't see the problem with this?
It's not like they will judge you. People google weird things all the time! Plus, even if they do they will never meet me.
It's not about what Google will do with the information, its what others will do with it if they get their hands on it. Like oppressive governments, or law enforcement agencies etc.

I just created a virtual machine and installed Konqueror. I didn't get any errors when I ran the test. I'm not sure whats happening for you ElementCoder. Maybe your version of Konqueror is outdated?
Sorry, I missed your post. I was in a bit of a hurry so I rushed to some tasks. Then that may be the case, it crashes a lot on its own (like when uploading images). Unfotunately they won't allow me to update the software so I guess I'm not of any use for Konqueror anymore then.
Thanks ok. I've got a bunch of incomplete tests so if anybody could get them tested that would be great. I've fazed out all beta browsers, so I am only testing for the currently released/supported browsers.

Android phones. They can already track everything you do. I'd say look into their privacy policy, and see if there are settings to disable tracking etc.

well, i don t know what happens if you store such a long string into a mysql table with CHAR(45) ^^
You can't save over 45 characters in that column, so it wont let you store it ^^;

That is your browser/computer then..... (btw, you just double-posted)
Fixed the double-post. Check your settings and make sure you don't click the link twice. The link is a simple <a> tag, so there is no way that it is omnomirc's fault.

My fork of OmnomIRC is now OmnomIRC V3. Still in development and not ready for use. Eventually V2 will be merged with V3 and hopefully it will run much faster and much more securely. V3 is almost a complete re-write. The guts of many functions will be reused, but the whole workflow will change.

Juju or another person might have to remove Trogdor (or was it Saphira or Enma-Ai?) from the random server list when people tries to connect from irc.omnimaga.org alias, because since Juju server disappeared, OmniNet still tries to connect to it from time to time and on some IRC clients (such as AndroIRC) it won't even bother retrying to see if it works from a different server.
Otherwise you might want to try EFnet, since both networks can be used for the same channel.
It's nethams server that needs to be removed. Dapianokid isn't trying to connect to IRC though, he can't get omnomirc to load. I always connect to irp.irc.omnimaga.org instead when I attempt to load irc.

IRC itself is not down, the same with OmnomIRC. I would suggest checking to make sure there is nothing wrong on your end. Try to open http://omnomirc.www.omnimaga.org/

So, yeah. Google is taking reader down in July and I will find myself without any rss reader. I'm looking for a web based reader with an android app and if possible a computer app (Linux). Do you have any advice on what I should try ?
I might host a limited version of google reader. I'll let you guys know if I actually get one set up.
Or not, I thought that I saw somewhere that google reader was open source. It isn't. I'll find a good feed reader for us and host it for us.

Hmm, strange. I know that Sorunome's server has terrible connection to ours, thus omnomirc is on withg instead of his. It must depend on your ISP I guess.

-I'M fairly sure that Omnimaga loads very slowly in Europe
Omnimaga loads fine for me.
Some people have issues loading Omnimaga in locations other then North America due to the fact that our server is in NA. If you ping us you'll notice that you don't have the best ping. I myself get a ping of around 38ms, I'm assuming yours will be much higher.
