Web Programming and Design / Re: CSS question
« on: June 13, 2012, 07:56:46 pm »
Oh right lol, I just skimmed the question.
Another more specific way to do this would be
Code: [Select]
tag.class atag{
   /* stuff */
}

Code: [Select]
atag.class{
  /* stuff */
}
or
Code: [Select]
.class{
   /* stuff */
}
Although this will affect anything with this class. You can also use
Code: [Select]
atag{
   /* stuff */
}
For all references of atag

I wonder if this list will be bigger than the 2 others. Note that I include everyone from francophone countries/regions. (No you don't count Eeems. Wrong region.)
You know there are a good number of francophones in this part of the country. You are right though, I'm not a francophone, so I don't count, it's not because of where I live though ;)

5. Because Objective-C compiles down to machine code, it is faster than Java can ever be.
Except for on a chip that runs java native.

Is it also why the skin is so different, omnom isn't up and new posts page isn't working?
You have to set your skin again.
Common has been disabled due to the ne server having issues with load when it I running.
There are many small things that are broken that ee are working on fixing  but we can't get things fixed all at once it takes time which not all of us have that much of during the week.

I have only used ubuntu, but the problem now is that I got too used to unity x.x so any other distros are a nogo for me :P
You can install unity on other distro's ;)
While I've never tried ArchLinux, it sounds cool, so I'll give it a try sometime. (On a LiveCD)
It's hard to get the full experience of Arch on a liveCD since all their liveCS's are for are repair or installation. The liveCD gives you the bare minimum needed to install and do some repair work, you don't get to really experience setting up the perfect system etc with it because you don't have any permanent storage. I'd say if you want to try it out but not permanently, and you still want to experience what I mentioned before, a virtual machine would be the best option for you.

Ok but does mobs constantly destroy your stuff? Also by multiple I meant what we were discussing earlier on IRC: Having a part of the map be survival and the other creative. And I understand why you want to play legit. I just don't enjoy losing 1 week of items/blocks everytime, as I feel like I am wasting my time. Are there any tricks to store stuff you found without losing it everytime you die?
mobs can't destroy stuff in the town, explosion/fire damage is off. Also only you can edit stuff on your plot

Multiple modes? So like gamemodes ( creative vs survival ). This server will be survival and there will be land that people can buy etc ( There already is land you can buy and still lots of open plots ;) )
The vps should have enough ram for now, as long as nobody goes and explores too far. I might break down and buy my own host later.
I know people want creative mode etc, but this will not have creative mode ( Except for a few things for making the initial 3 plots ) because I like being legit, and then the money is actually useful for something other then buying plots. I still have to talk to more admins about making this an official server though ;P

EDIT: Oh, and it's up :)

Ok, so the server is no longer on my laptop, it's now on withg.us.to on port 25565 :) It should be up in a little while.
