@Eeems: Ah ok I thought you would still have an idea based on how empty shelves were when you arrived and how much stock got out of the backstore or something :P Here the Rona store was unusually quiet during the Christmas rush, while every other store were extremely busy.
I can never tell because for all we know, the shelves could have already been empty because we didn't have anything to stock it with for a couple weeks.

I got some clothes, a few books and a 2TB external USB 3.0 Hard Drive. Yay, I can actually get serious about recording games and stuff now :P

Since I work nights I have no idea how the Christmas rush was. The store is closed during the night.

Yeah I've been busy playing games with my brother, sleeping, working recently. I'll still pop in irc sometime soon, but I'm not going to be on every day. I don't have the energy all the time to want to be on.
I have two more shifts on nights and then I'm moving to days again. Who knows, maybe I'll be on more again after that :)

Geez well if anyone wants to play let me know but I hate playing with people who have lag...... I have a six core computer.
lag doesn't always depend on how good your computer is. You also have to understand that sometimes people can't help but lag due to distance etc.
LOL
I understand that you laughing at his response due to its humor, but I'd like yo request that outside of the spam section that you would refrain from posts that only contain things like "lol" etc.

It's a RTS but on a larger scale then starcraft. It's only similar to starcraft in the fact that it's an RTS.
It's basically a battle sim between massive armies.
Here is an example of overmap gameplay and the actual battles

I own almost all the total war series.
I've currently only got Napoleon Total war installed though. I'm planning on installing Shogun 2 soon though.

according to wikipedia it's only 5GB
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_Commander_2
It's probably got a lot of extra content that make it a ton bigger though.
The biggest game I have is 20GB I think. One of the total war games.
We need to find a good game that all of us have so we can all play :)

Steam games are just games packaged to be used with steam, they aren't always dependent on it. There are a few that require it for multiplayer but other than that you don't actually need to have steam running for most of them.
You can disable automatic synchronizations so it doesn't sync your game data to the cloud. I'm not sure if you can disable updates though, but you can always pause the downloads if you don't want them running.
