Isn't crabcake an axe only thing? If I need the extra space I'll probably just go with that port trick or something. I'm not entirely sure since I haven't reached that point yet.

Yeah I forgot to mention, this is going to be a DCS7 program due to the fact that I'm using some of DCS's routines. I might be able to switch to MOS though, I can't remember.

Yeah the game is far from finished. The engine is pretty far along though, although I might do a major revamp to actually understand how it all works again EDIT: if anybody wants to make a screenshot of the game for me feel free http://dl.dropbox.com/u/763272/TBP/TBP.8xp I haven't really gotten my dev environment completely setup

Yay what do you still need to work on?
Battle engine, adding in support for more then one map, items, dialog with npc's. Random encounters. Pretty much most of the meat, so far graphics and game engine is all I've worked on. Well the main menu's too.

Guess who bothered Buckeye enough to get spasm fixed on linux? That's right, this guy ;P
I can now start working on this whenever I have the spare time ( so weekends, a little in the morning when I get home from work? )

I'm pretty sure that they can keep it until a parent/guardian gets it. They don't have to give it back to the student they took it from. The do have to give it back to the parent/guardian though otherwise it would be considered stealing. If the student is of legal age they can get it back themselves and the school can't refuse them.

Some do, others don't. I know for sure that 8+ have a better JavaScript engine. 9+ is suppose to have a new UI ( Not in the nightlies yet ). The new major versions aren't as big as they use to be, and they do tote them a little more then they should like Netham mentioned ( well not everybody does but some do ).
I don't think they are trying to get as big of a number as everybody else, there is no way they would be able to catch up with Chrome anyways ( Chrome has a rapid release schedule as well ).

Nightly 10 right now Yeah their new rapid release process is great ( IMHO ) it allows them to get security fixes out faster, and to get new content out to us to use way faster.

Firefox has switched to a rapid release schedule ( every couple months or so they release a new version ). This has created some issues with addons but they have been coming up with solutions to that issue. The rapid release schedule has forced them to get a lot more done though and each version just keeps on getting better Alright, lets get rid of the browser wars before they start. No more arguing about which browser sucks/is better and why/why not.
