ASM / Re: Linux - assembler for TI-83+« on: October 08, 2011, 12:55:27 am »Maybe use the right ti38plus.inc...That's not the issue. It's actually spasm's issue. Spasm hasn't been made specifically for Linux and therefore hasn't actually been tested that much on it until recently. 1578

Pretty fun
I've already been able to unlock a few achievements Question is there an achievement for doing enough flips? ( I notice you get a combo for doing one ) 1581

Yeah, we get payed more on night shift as well, it's great, I start off getting payed more then if I started off in the day
Why I'm getting full time night shift is because they barely have enough people working night shift and one is about to retire so they need more people. 1582
Miscellaneous / Re: Change in Activity« on: October 05, 2011, 01:40:43 pm »AH ok hopefully you can still come online sometimes. Congrats on the job though, I'm glad you managed to get one finally. Just please do not keep this work schedule if you ever return to school, though. I heard some people did that and that's an extremely bad idea because they usually ended up failing most of their classes. X.xYeah I'll be able to get on after work, and maybe before. Yeah I plan to not work during school since I can't be up all day long. I'm working full time so Mon-Fri, or 40 Hours a week. I get every weekend off, so I'll be on more then. 1583

Hey guys, so I've usually been on anywhere from 12pm-2am MST but starting this coming up Monday my normal schedule will drastically change. The reason is that I've just recently gotten a job working night shift at a Hardware/Home improvements/Gardening store. So I have no idea exactly when I'll be up anymore as I'll be adjusting to working 10pm to 6am MST.
Just so you guys know why my online time is going to be very different then normal. Yay Money! ( Btw, I'll probably be saving some of my money specifically for paying Omni's bills ( although not all of it ) ) 1584

News / Re: Survey« on: October 05, 2011, 02:00:22 am »I voted, but I think you should probably have tried to make it more secure before posting it, even if it required help, else it might have greatly falsified the results. Also some members probably never got the PM if they do not frequent Omni regularly. We posted it because we wanted people to know it wasn't just random spam. 1586

I've been having issues with spasm as well on linux. Buckeye said he was going to look into it but he never got around to it yet.
That version is an old one so you might want to try building from the source. If that doesn't work ( probably wont even build ) then this one you have, it will be able to build the hex files, but not compile them into 8xp's so you need to figure out a way to convert them to an 8xp. ( The reason it's not working is because of some bad code with the exporter when it comes to naming on Linux ) EDIT: just tested the latest svn, it's seg faulting on the first pass, so just stick with what you have for now. 1587
TI Z80 / Re: Essence« on: October 04, 2011, 01:44:16 pm »Quite sadly, that looks dreadfully slow. Maybe you should scrap the backdrop, as the original screenies looked really fast. The speed looks quite good to me. 1588
Graviter / Re: Graviter« on: October 03, 2011, 08:58:10 pm »Also, it it just me, or does anybody silently hear/pretend to hear a sort of boom-boom-boom-boom shaking sort of noise when the rays shoot out and the screen starts shaking? Not quite boom-boom-boom, more of a thunderous roar. 1589
The Axe Parser Project / Re: Bug Reports« on: October 03, 2011, 05:26:41 pm »Another thing about loops appearing to quit early. If you have a menu, or something that checks for enter being pressed at the beginning of your game, sometimes it "picks up" the enter from the home screen to run the program. Sometimes this creates the illusion of quitting early. That's an easy fix, just put a wait at the start of your program for until enter is no longer pressed. 1590
