Other / Re: New Desktop. Or as I like to call it, Batman.
« on: February 10, 2018, 05:49:51 pm »
So I know this is a huge necropost... but Batman has died :(
Looks like the graphics card gave out. I've got a friend coming over with some canned air, we are going to clean out the dust, re-seat everything and see if that fixes anything. If not, I'm going to go out and get a new graphics card. Something I definitely didn't budget for, and I really should have got a new graphics card sooner. You know, before the prices skyrocketed.

Currently looking at potentially replacing it with this: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX66283

News / Re: Discord and Matrix linked to IRC.
« on: February 08, 2018, 08:42:00 pm »
Basically. OmnomIRC isn't actually doing all of the linking, we are using a couple other technologies instead of rolling our own. I believe @Sorunome does have plans for integrating it into OIRC in the future though.

News / Discord and Matrix linked to IRC.
« on: February 07, 2018, 04:38:10 pm »
Most of you don't realize this, but we have a Matrix channel and a Discord server. For those of you who aren't as interested in joining our IRC server, our EFnet channel, or using OmnomIRC on the site itself and would prefer other options. You now have even more options.

Feel free to grab Riot.im or another Matrix compatible chat client and hop onto #omnimaga:sorunome.de.

If you'd prefer to use Discord feel free to join our server.

Whether you use Omninet, EFnet, OIRC, matrix, Calcnet or Discord your messages will be synchronized between all the channels.

Casio Calculators / Re: Open Jazz jackrabbit Casio prizm port
« on: February 07, 2018, 04:17:28 pm »
One question...
Would you consider porting this over to the TI-84 Plus CE or TI N-spire CX?
A Plus CE port might be possible, as it does use an enhanced Zilog eZ80 at 48 MHz (much faster than the CSE)
Plus, the TI-84 Plus CE lacks any platforming games besides ONE mario game.
The last reply to this thread was in 2015. This was a bit of a necro post.

That said, this is an open source project. You could easily fork his github repository and port it to another platform yourself.

I've uploaded another TI-Boy CE preview, this time featuring Galaga! Also showing off some new features like display scaling, save states, and turbo mode.

I think I'm getting fairly close to a release, but I'll have to guesstimate Spring 2018 to be safe. :)
Awesome! I've been wondering what you've been up to. This is looking really good, can't wait for that release!

Hey yo,

Just wanted to know if there were any updates on this topic.

Thanks,
ALIYSS

It's been 6 and a half years since the previous post. I think it's safe to assume that there are no more updates.

Axe / Re: how do i use the gdb
« on: November 21, 2017, 12:39:49 pm »
@Jonson26 Since this is in the Axe subforum, I think this is meant to be in written in Axe for the 83+/84+/84+SE series and doesn't have to do with TI-Basic or the nsipre.

If you want to hide something until someone can come back later and see it, I would recommend using spoiler tags instead of linking to another site.

Other Calc-Related Projects and Ideas / Re: [Idea] Nethack for nSpire
« on: October 23, 2017, 05:30:27 pm »
Has anyone managed to do this yet? I think it can be done with nSpire Linux, as it runs on arm, but I don't know enough about it to do it myself :P
Nice 6 year old necropost there. Since this thread has not been updated I think your best bet for determining if it's been done is googling it. I doubt it has been done though.

It would help if you included the compiler output.
