I'd totally buy a developer edition if I had the cash, but currently I don't, but when I do get enough money (and if I remember ) You can count me in for buying one, I don't know if it will be in time for helping fund at the beginning though

You don't need Backgrounder if you have iOS4.
But it does let you background stuff that doesn't support it, so it's still good to have.

same , but you could just restore it, and if its stolen how do they know its been jailbroken? Not very effective enforcement lol.
++ The whole warranty is void thing doesn't really apply if they can't really know now does it ;P

Fair enough it was just an idea, maybe someone will implement it later or something in their own OS using the KnightKernel

One question, are you going to set aside the necessary space required for the temporary file? That seems like a lot of space.

Ah, magic numbers. I suspectd that's what you were talking about. And magic numbers hasn't been a good system for years and years. And it's totally incompatible with every other OS. I want cross-compatability with Linux, Windows, Mac, etc.
Well most operating systems that use it also use extensions for cross compatibility, but it would be helpful for files without extensions. But anywho, it's your choice

So I'm guessing you aren't going to think about using magic bits?
