Its not structure based. And the gameplay is kind of slow, battles are instant but it can take up to 4 turns I think for your fleets to reach a planet.

Ok, so I was thinking, anybody want to make a faster, and maybe more feature filled version of this game? It's an old favourite of mine, but it's not coded in the best way... I had been working on a game inspired by it a while ago that I called Fleet. It would show where the fleets are, and it would allow you to create your maps and it would calculate the distance between the planets. It was much faster, but it did not feature names for planets due to the fact that you could have anywhere from 3 to 10+ planets (can't remember exactly). The graphics where a bit better, and it was still menu driven, but that doesn't really matter Anybody want to take this up? Maybe make an Axe version or something? |
