Have you done a full reset of memory like @lolpro11 suggested?

Please move this followup discussion to https://www.omnimaga.org/general-technology-and-hardware-discussion/ti-84-wont-download-anything/ since @Please Help has started a thread specifically for it.

What is the error message? Pulling the battery will clear the ram, so that's expected.

Just in case it wasn't clear, this was an April Fools joke. Omnimaga is its own separate entity, and will continue to be.

For anybody who finds this thread, the OP found the solution:
After some hours trying to desperatly find the solution. I finally sent the Boot 2 successfully.

Here´s what you need to do.

First, try to see if you have slimmer cables if the ones you have are not so slim. That will be handy. To determine if they are slim enough, just see if it´s easy to stuck them correctly by just pushing it under the plastic cover in the connectors. The cables I was using weren´t exactly that slim, sometimes they would stick and when they did just a small movement would make them fall.

And once you go to the "Begin XMODEM file transfer" message, just carefully start to play around with the TXd cable (don´t let the other cables move) connected to your calculator. Start to push it or pulling it accordingly until those sybols in the screenshot stop multiplying. Once they do, send it normally.

Still waiting for the Cemetech OnlyFans.
We wouldn't want to compete with LTT.

I've split this into it's own topic.

2 player co-op (same calc, no linkplay) now ported across to the CE
Any plans on implementing linkplay?

Just tried out the latest demo, but on my 84+, I would recommend having a "are you sure?" dialog on quit, or moving the quit button to [mode]. Accidentally hitting clear when using the arrow keys can be a little bit annoying ;P

Looks awesome! Gave it a quick try this morning (but now I've got to get back to work). I noticed that you can shoot through walls by standing next to them.

Computer Programming / Re: Alternatives to Ti-BASIC

Sounds like you are dealing with the 83+/84+ family (minus the CE). In which case, you've listed all that I believe are available. ASM, C (badly optimized), Grammar, Axe, TI-Basic, and TI-Basic with libraries (Celtic III, etc).

nDoom / Re: How to setup and install nDoom
« on: April 14, 2021, 04:33:14 pm »
I know this thread is old, lol, but I wanted to know if their was a way for nDoom to run on a TI-Nspire™ CX instead of just a TI-Nspire™? I have tried to get nDoom running and every time when I open nDoom the calculator freezes and bugs out completely I either have to unplug the battery or wait for the calculator to use all of its power.
Did you try the file linked in https://www.omnimaga.org/ndoom/how-to-setup-and-install-ndoom/msg344871/#msg344871

Hello there.
Would that mean just an ownership change, or should we expect some significant changes regarding the actual omni site experience?
Likely we will be experiencing significant changes reminiscent of when TI purchased Omnimaga: https://www.omnimaga.org/news/ti-really-buys-omnimaga-more-details/

Will there be a kickstarter? xd
No, but we are considering an onlyfans. After all, LTT has shown that it's viable for tech to make the jump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJwjqZZgcWk

Uhm, very interesting indeed.
You are giving me some ideas about speeding up my net connection too. How expensive is that (~ 1GBit) for you?
$99CAD/mo for two years and then $160CAD/mo after that, at which time I'll try to grab another deal or just downgrade to the 300mbps up/down for $120/mo

I wonder, does the dog go online using the system76 laptop lying on the floor? :P
Thanks for having the trouble to put it together for us.
Haha, no I just was charging it before taking it to the basement.
