branches, we will both have the same Kernel, but I will be developing a different front end, so it's like Linux, same Kernel different GUI's and way of doing things, although there should be a lot of cross compatibility as long as we both keep the same standards.

Well that all depends on how the GUI fleshes out to be, and I'm sure that I will allow them in my branch because I'm basing my interface off of DCS.

KnightOS / Re: KnightOS« on: August 05, 2010, 11:17:45 pm »so what about programs that are already in ASM, that are like apps, loading at $4000, or asm programs that load at $9D95? I guess you'll have to re-write them, because most use locations like AppBackupScreen. Speaking of data, how exactly will a program request data to use? like, if they need 768 bytes of data or something.you can't just port over a program from TIOS you have to first convert it to be compatible with KOS, they have completely different layouts, and we wont have the same bcalls, if we call them that. 3113

Other Calculators / Re: Cemetech Contest #7: Doors CS« on: August 03, 2010, 08:13:25 pm »well the speed increase isn't noticeable, but yes it is faster.TI-83+SE are no longer in production, and so they are harder to find. Also, a TI-83+SE is the fastest of the 8x family due to the fact that is has no clock using up cycles. of course that means it has no extra features, but to be sure they are a very desirable calculator to have. Kind of a collectors piece. So what you're saying is that a Ti-83+ SE is faster generally than an 84+ SE? 3120

lol, well I don't doubt they read our front page and stuff, but I don't think we really have to worry about a spy yet, unless we start making all the jailbreaking software for the nspire instead of other sites.
