« on: July 27, 2010, 12:24:36 pm »
This XKCD cartoon got mentioned on the tinspire Google group. By merely posting a link to the news on /., the probable trigger for the XKCD cartoon, mentioning that most commenters on /. missed the point, and later explaining some of the points that had been missed, I eventually triggered a post full of flamebait, cluelessness, disrespect and even slander from someone with tremendous blinders: Nelson Sousa. And you haven't seen his private mails, where he kept top-posting twice after I explained him that it was bad and that avoiding it was a basic netiquette rule...

Full topic at http://groups.google.com.au/group/tinspire/browse_thread/thread/2978472efdd30e01 .
But don't even try wasting your time with the people on the tinspire group: most of them are North-American-minded (copyright, licensing, etc. - instead of encouraging creativity) teachers who hate games, and are happy to stay undisturbed together among like-minded individuals... You aren't going to convince them that their opinions suck.
did someone on there say that jailbreaking iphones/itouch/ipad's is illegal? Well have we got some news for them :P as of yesterday, it is completely legal in the states :P

Ok lots of work today, so you can now export to whatever file you want :) so far it doesn't parse tokens...so it kinda fails at anything past the header, I'll work on adding something to change the header tomorrow.
Here is a screenshot, and the latest build of it :)
be warned though I am not liable for any crashes, this is still in early beta.

I'm ok with staff having the logo and stuff if they want, and references in their readme, same with forum members, although yeah, I'm a little more leery of new community members because if they accidentally start off overzealous they could tarnish our name. Although if they want to give a thanks to the community or something that would be cool :)

This is going to be epic :P
I was wondering, is there any way that we can customize our interface? like adding our own mouse routine if we want it or something?
