I think you should go ahead and implement that fb-like bottom bar. You'll have fun for sure, once it's done. ;)
I also like the bottom bar idea. Right now you have to scroll to the top to see what's going on, instead of just being able to look while reading posts.

Bug report: Most rom patches don't work, like Pokemon Brown. They function correctly, but it takes forever to load.

Well when the active projects are actually discontinued we'll move them.
Maybe we could add a hiatus section or something to overgo that issue of people miss-interpreting what discontinued means?
I'd rather not have to keep moving the boards around and have to change URLs all over the place as projects go on temporary hiatus.

We only have 5 major community projects and 7 official projects that are not completed or in hiatus. There are probably a couple that could be moved to discontinued, but the last time we did a probe into if they were done or not (Which wasn't that long ago) they were not moved.

Seeing as the last post on this thread is from 2012, I'd say there is no update. I'm going to split this into a new topic since you are also asking a bunch of questions that don't really have to do with this thread.

I'm in Fx 48a1 and I'm also unable to scroll in the user list. So it looks like updating wont fix that. It's probably an OIRC bug.

EDIT: I've opened a bug on the OIRC issue tracker (#60)

If you want, you can probably drop irp.irc.omnimaga.org. Not all too many people use it (If you still have ZNC running then it would save you bandwidth for whoever is accessing omninet, just get them to use irp instead of another server).

Sad to see withgusto having to downsize due to budget, but it's understandable. Hopefully some more people will be willing to throw some money your way to help support the service.

I'm going to remind people on this thread, if you have an idea for Omnimaga that you want to propose we implement (As in new features for the admins to program), please open an  issue here: https://bitbucket.org/omnimaga/omnimaga.org/issues
Keep in mind, we are all volunteers and we will work on resolving/implementing these changes as our personal lives permit.

Adding an HUD will fill out the rest of the space nicely. Are the artifacts on screen emulator/screenshot glitches?
He does plan on adding a HUD, like the original. I also think he said somewhere that the artifacts are not in the program, but are screenshot glitches. Then again, I'm not exactly sure. :/
Correct, I'll be adding some HUD elements at the top and bottom, and the artifacts are just GIF glitches. I guess I could post this test program here if anyone wanted to download it just to see how it looks on their calculator? :)
I'd be down to run tests if you'd like.
