News / Re: Presenting Learn @ Cemetech

I see links to wikiti on the main page. I don't think it was ever meant to replace wikiti, just do the education side, which wikiti isn't about. If there is overlap that happens, it's easy enough to resolve that. Just replace the overlap on L@C with links to the wikiti page.

##6/2(1+2) =\ 6/2(3) =\ 6/6 =\ 1##
##\frac{6}{2(1+2)} =\ \frac{6}{2(3)} =\ \frac{6}{6} =\ 1##

This is due to how their division works. It's a fraction, not the ÷ symbol. So its 6 over 2(1+2) not six divided by 2(1+2). The way that TI-OS does it there is wrong according to that.

##6÷2(1+2) =\ 6÷2(3) =\ 3(3) =\ 9##

If we aren't treating it as a fraction then it is correc according to standard order of operations.

So TI-OS doesn't follow order of operations the way we'd expect it to. :(

Now I wish I had not just replaced my TI-84+ with a CE.
Well it's going to be a while before dev on this is done. Who knows, maybe you'll have an 83+/84+ alongside your CE by the time this is out.

I wasn't suggesting that. I was saying when it does drop we'll use that as a base. Until then we are not going to touch redoing how the site looks.

353
We already have a fairly modern design, it's just not responsive yet. SMF's next big release will have a responsive base theme we can use. That said, we just updated the theme when we updated to SMF 2 on 2014-03-02. None of the admin staff have the time currently to go through yet another massive overhaul of the site. We all have jobs/school/real life that take up most of our free time. The slow iterative approach to enhancing the site works better with our lives. If I could take a month to overhaul everything again and normalize things even better on the back end I would.

Computer Programming / Re: I made an Android game :)

You may want something to give a better explanation of how to properly play the game. It looks like there is another person on Google play with the same issues I was/am having. I keep on running getting killed when I get new yellow dots even if I don't slow down.

You may want to tweak the red hit detection. If you stop moving it kills you, sometimes it kills you when eat a new yellow dot.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnimaga revitalization, what can we do

OmnomIRC change requests should be redirected to OmnomIRC itself: https://github.com/Sorunome/OmnomIRC/issues

Edit Sorunome: fixed link

I've quietly update the issue/bug/request links to point to https://bitbucket.org/omnimaga/omnimaga.org/

All our issues are now publicly available there. Feel free to open new ones, or prod old ones for more information on them. I've only imported the open issues we have and ignored any old history.

I've been making a bunch of stability fixes to the server side of this, as well as setting up proper ssl encryption (Yay for Letsencrypt!). I've still only handed out keys to @Geekboy1011 and @Sorunome for testing but I'm fairly close to handing out a couple more.

Any issues found by people doing alpha testing should be logged in the issue tracker.

Here is the current list of issues that are blocking me from handing out a couple more alpha keys: https://bitbucket.org/Eeems/smf-mobile/issues?milestone=Alpha

Blast Labs / Re: Sprite Requests

@Deep Toaster , can you make me some sprites for this platformer game?
All extra info can be found here at CW: https://codewalr.us/index.php?topic=1036.msg30771;topicseen#new

If you could help, that would be great. Thanks!  ;D
Please don't necro post just to ask someone for help on something on another site. Post a new topic (Which I believe you've already got a post on this forum about. You should link to that instead).
