well I finished world 2 and as soon as I have access to the main computer I will transfer it to the computer and test it on an emulator, then I will enter it into the contest  I have to say that I am pleased with the game as it is at the moment, I will possibly upload a screenshot of the boss battle at the end of world 2. Yes I am only entering a demo into the contest, but it shows all the things you can do in this game, except for all the magics, but there are a bunch of screenies of that, and I will supply a "hacked" saved game list for the judges. hmm, which reminds me that I have to make it harder to play around with the saved game...maybe a appvar save routine or something...

I don't know what game DarkAuron was working on, but 'stroids is an astroid like game that runs at an ok speed on 6mhz, and I have yet to test it on a 15mhz just tested it and it runs really fast on a 15mhz with 5 objects on the screen, I have yet to test with more... well you kind of have lost me...but not completely, I want to finish the blue platform first...you see I met a girl at camp for one thing, and I realized that I was in the online communities to try to fill my need for being with people, and that if I wanted to actually fill that need, I would have to actually hang out with people... I'm still going to be here, and I will still be active, though not as much as before, and I will still try my best to keep programming, but now I'm going to try to fill my life with other things as well...so fear not, I'm not leaving yet and I don't plan on it for a long while, after all, I am staff...

so atm I am restoring my calculator so I can finish working on this project, and I am releasing two games I made on the trip (just small arcade style games) so yeah...
I'll try to finish world two by monday so I can submit it to the contest
well I'm done 3 of the 6 maps I have to do to finish world 2, so I'll be done in time (unless the aliens get me 0.o)

hmm, I don't know if we have a topic for this type of thing, so...yeah...post your songs that you have written and/or Free-verse poems here is my first one tell me what you think I have found myself lost,
lost inside this sick culture
wanting more to be shown
more to be given
more to be taken
this ever beating heart
growing faster and faster
wanting more and more
this ever increasing need
why?
we've lost our morality
continual loss of life
yet we laugh
"It will never be us
we are invisible"
this mindset is bringing us to defeat
never have I believed so strongly
and cried so softly
Do we not see?
do we not know?
our sick perverted minds
we feed them continually
bringing us farther into this laughable life
lies! deceit!
we fill our minds with them
never aware of the consequences
closing off our hearts
dehumanizing others because of our close mindedness
falling farther and farther
sinking in
all around us our society is failing
yet we laugh
rejecting the truth
instead taking hold
of the gluttony of the lies
that whisper in our ear
it's not of the truth
slowly we are being sweet talked
into eternal suffering
life that was ours
slowly being stripped away
never has such a crime been tolerated
yet humankind tolerates it well
some of us don't

kind of reminiscent of old rpgs (form how the sprites look)
