Thanks for clarifying, and thanks for pointing the pros out for me, but I think I'll keep it the way it is, but who knows I may change it later

actually any program in the archive takes up a bit of RAM, because the calc has to know its there, so that's why I'm doing this, I'm going to have a lot of appvars and stuff on the archive, and a lot of programs on the RAM, so I want to keep the extra little amount of RAM usage down, and the program is only an extra, so you don't need to use it if you don't want to, because it will only run it if it exists

ok, because I'm going on vacation on sunday, I am completely backing up my calc's RAM/ARCHIVE and then I will load my calc with games, at the end of my trip I will restore my calc to it's original state, so this means that progress on TBP will be on hold for now, I will continue with it after my vacation, so I don't think I will finish all the maps, so the game I hand in to the contest will be incomplete (mapwise). I think that I will get 2-3 worlds done in time (maybe 4?)

I guess I could, but what I do is just unarchive it run it then rearchive it, I don't really like the program copy routines, it wastes RAM. but I guess I should rename it.
the screenshot of the boss was on a 84+ SE, but it's still playable, if slow, but you only run into bosses at the end of each platform (minus the first), the only reason it slows down is because of the animations it is going through. it's actually pretty fast when it's not doing anything at all. 4957

I just needed to stick with a IRC specific Client, instead of using Pidgin

well I decided to add a little title screen thing to the start, DJ told me about it, it's an Omnimaga screen. The screen will only display if the right program is on your calc (thetaBANNER) and will archive it after it is used and unarchive it if it is archived at the start, but only if it is archived
