So, I've just been informed that the package arrived at my house. I'll get pics when I get home tonight.

Other Calculators / Re: Caleb's Wooden TI-82 Becomes Available For Sale« on: June 27, 2014, 12:56:35 pm »Eeems: No, I actually like the interface of what I've seen or used (Ubuntu, Mint, really old Red Hat) just fine, but what I can't stand is the kooky(aka not-ntfs or fat) file system, inability to run .exe files easily (it was continually trying to open programs as archives), and driver difficulties.Erm, linux filesystems have way better permission control then FAT. NTFS itself is copying a lot of features that ext3/4 offer (Like the permission scheme). Windows executable are archives and are not actually able to run by default on Linux. You'd have to install wine and set it so that .exe files are opened with wine to work. Linux executables (not .exe, usually they have no extension) have the executable flag flipped and thus file managers know to prompt for how to run them. Your problems with Linux sound like user training issues Quote And yeah, I will start a topic about it after I get well started on the first prototype - I need to choose the wood as well - and while I'm at it I bet we'll need to make a new Linux topicSounds good, feel free to prod me to split this topic if you want the original thread as part of the new thread. 619

Some of which look/act pretty much the same as windows. Me-thinks you have just had very little exposure to Linux and have preconceived notions as to how it acts. That aside, you should probably start a different thread for the wooden laptop. 620

And no, I'm not planning on being selfish anymore.Secret in a publicly logged channel ;P Do you mean a mobile app? I would like it but then my phone would scream about lack of diskspace (which is what happens on every Facebook update, even though I use my SD card for Facebook). It's only 24.16MB as opposed to Facebook's 101MB Shouldn't be as much of a problem 625
Other Calculators / Re: Caleb's Wooden TI-82 Becomes Available For Sale« on: June 19, 2014, 05:39:34 pm »Wow for some reasons Ebay didn't e-mail me to warn me that the auction ended soon. It always does normally. Maybe because I bidded from Ebay.com instead of Ebay.ca. Oh well, congrats to the winnerI use the app to get notifications. 626

Mine doesn't change anymore. I kind of miss having it crack randomly, but at the same time I don't.
My youtube channel has my voice on it, and I add new videos every so often (When I get tired of them taking up space on my hard drive) 628

Yes you should I noticed a bunch of people stop in today, but nobody stayed for long We have a TeamSpeak server? (Also: Yay! Mumble!)We had one for a while. It may still be running for all I know, but it was kind of taken over by some of Netham's acquaintances. 630
