We may be able to handle the old search method, SMF hasn't been migrated yet so I can't do stress testing.

You may have to wait for a bit. It seems to work for me.
EDIT: Although it tells me I already posted. You will have to live with a couple quirks on the site for a while as we migrate. 889

2TB bandwidth cap. Not that we even touch 1TB. We will still use cloudflare for security reasons.
The forum will be disabled when I perform the site migration which could take a while since I'll have to copy the files between the servers. The new server shouldn't ever have slowdown due to how powerful it is compared to the current one. 890

There was a database crash last night and we haven't had time to investigate the issue thoroughly. More information to follow.
EDIT: it seems that when the database crashed it was in the middle of doing work on a table and therefore marked it as crashed. I ran a recovery on it and everything seems to be working now. 891
OmnomIRC Development / Re: OmnomIRC3 Public beta« on: September 10, 2013, 07:41:24 pm »We'll have to talk design soon. The cookie I currently use to check if it is not embedded on a other site to catch your sig is valid for .www.omnimaga.org (SMF-Cookie666)I will add a general plugin with tons of stuff, and it may happen that there are some easter eggs in thereErr how about oirc3.omnimaga.org. No need to make subdomains overly nasty looking. Quote I know the feeling. 892

No need to make subdomains overly nasty looking. Client side API is already done, so plugins are possible for the client.I particularly like the Omni theme . But will it blend... er I mean include the rickroll easter egg?Sorunome will add it later. (as in once plugins are possible) 894
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnom getting 403« on: August 06, 2013, 10:03:23 am »Well, the bot runs on withg. We don't use nginx. 895
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Omnom getting 403« on: August 06, 2013, 01:10:21 am »Hasn't this been fixed?Yes, and as far as I know, Sorunome's IP is already on the whitelist. 896
OmnomIRC Development / Re: New Post Bot« on: August 03, 2013, 05:17:59 pm »Yes, just do the initial coding on your machine first (so install smf locally and then test it out) before you muck around on Omni itself. So, um, do i have admin permission to try around in that area?Yes, that's what I've been saying! That's why i didn't understand itThats why I'm reiterating itThat's what I keep saying.well, they are send anyways to the db because they are stored (duh). It would be so much easier if you just had a node bot acting like a server that sent the post notifications to IRC whenever a call was made by Omnimaga to it. The posting function that stores the data to the database would also make a quick call to the post bot, thus causing push notifications 897

OmnomIRC Development / Re: OmnomIRC changelog and suggestions« on: August 02, 2013, 10:32:03 pm »um, will the sig key also change often? Because otherwise it could just get fished easily and you could write a userscript to constantley change the sig key once you have to re-authDon't worry, I know what I'm doing. 900
OmnomIRC Development / Re: OmnomIRC changelog and suggestions« on: August 02, 2013, 06:06:30 pm »
The new one will provide this type of support to the authentication api. It will re-auth with the site every half an hour or so and allow certain people the ability to kick/silence users.
