Just get a random used SNES on leboncoin. :P The problem with region bypassing is that pal snes's will run slower and apparently the audio is pitched lower. Also, this affects pal games too.
What? Bypassing the resion makes the pal games slower? Oo
I know that PLA games are already slower than NTSC (60->50Hz, and goddamn Sonic's OST in slow-mo is unacceptable) , but slowing them again... unless I misunderstood what you meant.

Yeah, Java case is useful when coding, IMO the underscore extends uselessly the variable's name.
Yeah, even nowadays on Linux its a pain to deal with.

It's not the same pain as Windows, you can easily tab-complete in a shell or escape the space. Or do your script to replace the spaces for underscores! :p

I should test this game, it looks promising.

It gives you full region free with auto frequency switch and you can also use unofficial carts.
Oï. Nice thing. I honestly prefer having a second NES, unzoned than modding mine. I got it from my father in law with the box and and the protection in polystyrène

On an off-topic note, I always wondered why Reuben Axe data was split into 4 or 5 appvars instead of just one big appvar? Is it because Axe has appvar size limitations?
Illusiat is gonna be this way too. x.x Unless I manage to fit it all into the app.

HBE is gonna be this too, as it's only an engine.

Also if you add konami code, you could just be nasty and make it do the opposite of what it's supposed to do: Instead of make the game easier, it would make it even harder, like I did in the fake Zelda CSE game :P

DJ O, I given the Konami Code idea only to enable "Maniac" Mode, Full Speed + nonstop gravity switch! :p

For water, I don't really mind, this is just a eyecandy, as long we get the thing working
For walls at the side of the map, can't you really just get the worm *disappears* when it gets out? Dommage :(
Holy Hand Greande without sound is fine, I can just shout "HALLELUIAH" each time it'll explode! :p Just make it and make it flash when we have to shout! :D

Then, the end of the level stream is marked by LVLSTR_END. When this point is reached, the game waits for every enemies to be killed, then quits - although for now you can't kill enemies so we'll see if that works when I'll implement collisions :P

^That was the part I forgot when I was seaching how to dsign a SHMUP. THanks!
