General Discussion / Re: Jazz
« on: April 25, 2013, 02:34:28 pm »
I think jazz is a pretty nice genre. It's tough to learn, but once you know it, it's awesome (though I never bothered to learn it :P) I like the jazz songs of Stevie Wonder much.

Congrats :) I think I'll reach 50k in about 2-3 decades unless I managed to make some interesting projects :P I wonder survivors there are of these lobster explosions?

News / Re: Blow nethams in Bomberman Rush!

Yep, it's just blowing blocks up and setting a time. The game has two graphic modes "Simple" and "Textures". Textures is what you see in the screen in the first post, simple is just one color for a block. While textures looks amazing, it's quite slow and performance takes a big hit (still fun to play however).

TI-Nspire / Re: z80 emulator for Nspire
« on: April 21, 2013, 09:02:17 am »
1. Install ndless
2. Download calcemu_cx.tns
3. Get a TI84+SE rom somewhere.
4. Rename the rom file to rom.tns and send everything to your nspire, making sure calcemu and the rom are in the same directory.
5. Run calcemu_cx.tns and press your nspire's on button to turn it on. (If it doesn't, hold it for a second or 2-3 before releasing it).
It should now turn on and greet you with a ram cleared screen :)

I like the part where they say "brushed metal" and "touch enabled" :) I'm very curious about it's programming capabilities (and other specs ofc.). So far it looks like a nice gadget to have.

Calculator C / Re: Simple calculator program
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:01:52 am »
But I don't know how do it in C (with Tinspire libraries). Anyone could give me a code example? I'm a C noob :P
Juding from the first post he wants to use ndless C ;) On a side note, you may want to put your code in
code here
tags

I'll just leave this here:

Also the answer is B.
Spoiler For Reasoning:
There is no correct answer by picking randomly from all 4. If you'd pick one at random there's a 1/4 chance, however 25% is listed twice, making it a 50% chance of correct answering. 50% is also wrong because there is only a 25% chance to pick 50% as an answer. 0% is wrong because if 0% were correct then you'd have a 25% chance again. By reducing the choice between the first two ansers, the answer is 50%

Edit:
Not really a picture (Harold posted it on IRC), but I am fairly sure that it will be soon (or that ones of similar incidents already exists out there):

Posting your source would be very helpful, since now we have no way of telling what's on line 1 :)

I thought I saw jim say that it only runs 68k programs. Quoting (tnx dxl) "look for 68k stuff / the 68000 is emulated / so higher or powerpc will not work".

There is no sarcasm or gimmick about it. Like TheNlightenedOne said, mini vmac is a Mac emulator. This IS a Mac OS to run on your nspire (not directly but from the documents screen).
