General Calculator Help / Re: Slow boot and Shut down after 5min.
« on: December 18, 2012, 02:33:13 pm »
1 - Do/did you have ndless installed or is it a clean install?
2 - What do you mean with "tried to install the old boot menu"
Does the shutting down thing happen always? It could just be that your battery is nearly emtpy.

Also welcome to omni !peanuts

Very interesting. I like the "not for sale" product ID on the back :P It seems to be pretty old, judging on the 2009 date and the indication DEV BUILD. So what do you think about this adriweb (I reckon you have more useful things to say than I)?

Lol, yeah. Also like those signs always get me that say things like:

You this read wrong.
I read your sentence as "You read this wrong" :O

Great to see another nspire game being developed. If you need any beta testing, I'm ready :D Love the fact that you can drill upwards too :P

Other Calculators / Re: What graphing calculators does your school have?
« on: December 17, 2012, 03:06:44 pm »
In the classes of my old school they don't supply them, you have to buy them yourself :P For the so-called "Math A" (lots of statistics) and "Math C" (easier version of A) they made us use the TI 84+ (SE). For "Math B" (lots of equations (solving) stuff and geometry (proofs too)) and "Math D" (kinda like A and C together, but for pros, a chapter in A/C is a paragraph in D) they made us use the TI-Nspire. And  in the first 3 years we have to use the TI30XIIB and it's newer brother. Furthermore we could borrow some TI83 if we needed to.

Lua / Re: Updating WZGUILib
« on: December 17, 2012, 04:10:17 am »
I wonder if that's possible. Seeing how jimbauwens succeeded to control an LED display through Lua, shouldn't it be possible to do the same with calcs? Perhaps we could even use a splitter and go even further, 4 calcs at the same time :P

Well I guess there are 3 possibilities:
1. TI wins the battle, ndless will be blocked forever.
2. TI loses the game, nspire production/support will be dropped.\
3. TI comes to its senses and starts to cooperate with us to create the ultimate user experience :D.

I think that's not only France :) Lots of my projects are on hold due to school too.

So it's something like an adapter that makes connecting something to the connnector strip/pins easier? Nice!

404 for me :( But really, that's it? No new functions/operations? Well at least they (partially) fixed the disp command :P I kinda miss the old days though, where each OS update brought lots of or at least some new things.

Lua / Re: Updating WZGUILib

I think it would be very nice but ,like you said, I think it would take a (large) nom out of flexibility. The apps sound nice, but wouldn't that make the document really huge?
I really need to find some time to play with this. Every time I see an update I'm like wow this looks great. But then I realise I have work to do, homework and suddenly all time is gone :( But there's a 2 week christmas holiday coming up so I hope I can do something in that time :D

4, 6 and 7 look suspiciously familiar to me :3 I have that face almost every time I run my Lua programs :P And the infinite loop isn't uncommon for me too...
On topic: nice work :P
