Goplat, do you plan to fix the backtrace debugger command probably broken by the new OS 3.0 function prolog? I miss it

News / Re: Programming capabilities as crippled on the CX as the old TI-Nspires?« on: May 19, 2011, 05:44:06 pm »Do those ndless versions break compatibility, then? That seems a bit unlikely to me... BrownyTCat, I have always either tried to figure out or logged to the Ndless issue tracker any bug reported and unresolved, since quality matters more than features to me. But most of the time crashes triggered by TI-Nspire programs are caused by the programs themselves rather than Ndless, since Ndless code is now quite mature and stable. So you should report the problem first to the program authors as DJ_O suggests. I'll then have a look at it if the programs appear to be OK and Ndless might be guilty. 453
News / Re: Nspire OS 3.0.2 Blocks Downgrading, Removes 3rd Party Lua - DO NOT UPGRADE!« on: May 19, 2011, 05:05:52 pm »
I don't quite understand how third-party Lua development was a problem to TI to the point of making them spend time and money to block it. Lua is well sandboxed and doesn't threaten calculator stability or press-to-test.

Great!
Would it be possible to add the ReadMe file and Changelog to both archives? 457

The server seems to be under maintenance.

I don't know about mint, but http://hackspire.unsads.com/wiki/index.php/C_and_assembly_development_introduction describes the setup for Ubuntu.

Other Calculators / Re: TI-Nspire CAS Clickpad Question?« on: May 11, 2011, 04:06:06 pm »
Yes, this one isn't compatible yet.
I was working on a disassembler producing assembly files that can be directly rebuilt with GCC, to be able to maintain gbc4nspire without its original source code, but didn't have time to finish it. 460
Other Calculators / Re: TI-Nspire CAS Clickpad Question?« on: May 11, 2011, 04:02:55 pm »
Programs should be rebuilt with a recent version of Ndless 2.0 to work on Touchpad models, but I don't know the current state of the different TI-Nspire programs.

Ndless / Re: Official Ndless link outdated« on: May 08, 2011, 04:49:11 am »
The builds issued by broooom's build server should now be used. The link provided in the first post of Ndless 2.0 beta's thread is the good one.

Ndless / Re: OSes that support Ndless« on: May 07, 2011, 02:22:27 am »
The laws aren't really more lax, maybe it's more difficult for TI to use legal proceedings abroad.

Letting anyone run arbitrary commands on your server isn't a bit risky? Or are there any filter mechanisms?

Lua / Re: Lua compatibility accross Nspire OSes« on: April 20, 2011, 07:10:05 am »
Once Ndless works on OS 3.0, enhancing the Lua API will be quite easy.

renatose: sure, I'll see if I have time for this. But Ndless 3.0 is of course the main priority.
