ASM / Issues with compiling« on: November 16, 2010, 07:20:45 pm »
I hope this is the right section... If not, sorry.
I downloaded Hot_Dog's ASM Tutorials and compiled the example in Lesson 4 successfully. However, when I tried to recompile penguin77's AboutFix program, spasm threw several errors. I'm pretty sure the problem is I don't have the correct ti83plus.inc, but I'm not sure where to get the correct one, or if the program is even with the ti83plus.inc. Here are the errors I get: The program I was trying to recompile is attached, and the setup is the Windows Files folder in Hot_Dog's tutorials. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. 1098

I've been looking for something like a CAS or symbolic manipulation, or whatever it's called, and Symbolic/Unit Ops seems to be the closest I can get to.There was one called AutoCalc I think... 1099

Metroid: Chozo Mission / Re: Metroid Chozo Mission« on: November 16, 2010, 03:34:52 pm »
Well, there's also this.
I modified Runer's 60fps monochrome smoothscroller to work with 4lvl grey, and it's fairly fast. I don't know the exact fps, though. 1101
Metroid: Chozo Mission / Re: Metroid Chozo Mission« on: November 16, 2010, 03:20:14 pm »
Well, if he used interrupts for the greyscale, he could probably decrease the flicker.
All he'd have to do after enabling the interrupt for grey, is to turn it off right before drawing to the buffers, then turn it back on right afterwards. Regardless of what you decide to do, this looks awesome! Keep up the good work. 1102
Nostalgia / Re: Nostalgia - My Axe Parser Contest Entry« on: November 15, 2010, 09:29:40 pm »Maybe I can learn something from your walking engine...I can post mine if you want when i'm done making the planned changes to itSounds good. We could probably learn stuff from each others engines, even though they use completely different storage methods. I'm working on fixing a little bug in mine right now, though. It's just an offset problem, nothing crashy, thankfully. 1103
Humour and Jokes / Re: 1000 things SirCmpwn should include in KnightOS« on: November 15, 2010, 09:26:23 pm »Depends...Well, TI is making us pay $89.98 for the TI-83+ OS and $0.01 for the hardware, so if Sir charged $7, it would be much better than what TI charges for the TI-OS.Okay, I have 24, 25, 26, 33, and 38 done. I'll get to the rest later. If he meant the original 26, that'd be true, but if he meant my modified version, you'd be paying every week or so. 1104

Plus, it has a minimalistic GUI, which makes for quick testing. At least that's my opinion. Other special stuffs... Just wanted to clarify that.I'm hoping for a Christmas release at the latest, but I can't set a date yet. That would be cool I'm optimizing the walking engine right now, and will probably have to post it for help, since I want to get the most optimization it's possible to get out of it. I need all the space I can get... 1106
