Some drawing and graphing commands set it to zero.

I got a Silverlink at Best-Buy for about $20, but that was a couple years ago.

TI-BASIC / Re: So... how 'bout that 68k BASIC programming?

One way around the key layout is to use a TI-Keyboard. ;D It can also help if you have a bunch of text for a 83+/84+ program.

Sorry if it said this, but are we allowed to use code we wrote before the contest, but didn't release?
Sure, as long as you didn't release it or use it for any previous contents.  In the future would you mind posting questions on Cemetech (in this case, this topic: http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4752)? I don't check here that often.
Awesome! I don't know if I'll have time for this, because of Nostalgia, but if I do then I can use my CelticIII/DCS7 powered 4lvl greyscale scrolling tilemapper.  ;D

I don't know if the OS used them, but very notable programs like TI-Boy used them. And yes, I believe the TI-83+ SE has them.

yep.  which tells you the programming part of the company sucks, and the manufacturing part is great.
Well, the second part is only partly true. The LCDs have gotten worse and worse, and they removed all the extra RAM pages because of different RAM chips, so...

Awesome! I can't wait for the 2.43 version! ERR:VERSION caused me to lose quite a bit of stuff over the years, so this is great!

Nostalgia / Re: Nostalgia - My Axe Parser Contest Entry

It's pretty tough to gauge that right now. The menus shouldn't be a problem, but the battle engine and handling stats will be a bit of a challenge. I gotta work on that, as well as an inventory system.

Nice! I would love the source for the 4-level grey, it would be extremely helpful for Pokemon TI.
The mapping engine is pretty awesome too! I might have to reference that code for a future project I have in mind. Gotta finish Nostalgia first, of course.

@Hot_Dog: It's currently a turn based system inspired by that of Final Fantasy X.
@yunhua98: I'm not exactly sure what it would say. Also, I should probably update my sig, I just like to be cautious and not give people a false sense of where the project is at.
@Builderboy: The bosses will most definitly have special skills. Some of them even have animations.
