General Calculator Help / Re: Help with sending new OS to TI 83+ SE
« on: July 22, 2010, 05:16:22 pm »
OK. Then could my problems possibly be coming from a bad back-up battery?

On the about screen it says I have Cert Revision #2. Is this not compatible with OS 1.19?

I know it's supposed to take a really long time, beacuse a couple years ago, when my friend and I knew almost nothing about our TI-83+'s he found and triggered the self test on his to see what it did. It took an entire weekend supposedly...

TI Z80 / Re: An On-Calc Basic IDE?

Yeah, I had issues with the space LunarIDE took up, so that's why I packed into an app with BasicBuilder! ;D

That aside, this looks good! I hope you can finish it.

I've never done a self-test before, so I don't know how long it's supposed to be, but it's still going. I've seen the 'testing flash' screen three times, and in between each time, the number it counts to before it jumps back to 'testing flash' gets higher.

I just started the flash self test, so we'll see what it says.

Yeah. I'll probably give another try tommorow, in case I had messed up before. That said, I think I'll leave app compiling for my 84.

1.19 *should* be more stable than 1.15 if I'm not mistaken. Plus, I'm just used to having 1.19, since that's what was on my TI-83+ BE.

Hmm... Now it seems to spontaneously RAM clear.
Could this be a problem with the back-up battery? Or perhaps it's the certificate?
If it is a certificate problem, how would I fix it? I tried resending OS 1.19 several times and I cleared my mem before each time, yet it still crashes.

Interesting.... I wonder if this is possible in Windows 7 as Paint is different in it.

I may make it so you can switch (shouldn't be too hard....) and I'm planning for you to only play as Aria or Roland in specific dungeons.

It's a bit slower oncalc, plus this is just the bare-bone structure of it. I'll be adding in NPCs and the like and after all that I will adjust the speed.

General Calculator Help / Re: Part of CelticIII app not working
« on: July 20, 2010, 07:10:30 pm »
Oddly enough, I just tried this on my calc with Celtic III installed (I don't have DCS on my calc) and it works.

You may want to try archiving your stuff, doing a RAM clear, unarchiving your stuff, then re-installing Celtic, as RAM clears will remove most if not all (if I'm not mistaken) hooks.
