I really like both, but I'd probably have to pick Pokemon. Crystal version was and still is my favorite GBC game.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: [Axiom] Floating Point Math (and other stuff)« on: October 26, 2011, 02:37:00 pm »Before a CAS could be made, the following needs to occur:I have some WIP Axe code to create FP numbers from supplied ASCII strings and store them to OS vars. Currently, scientific notation support is non-existent and it only works for real numbers. I also have a WIP routine for converting FP numbers to ASCII strings for displaying, but only real numbers are supported and scientific notation support is currently iffy at best. 183
The Axe Parser Project / Re: [Axiom] Floating Point Math (and other stuff)« on: October 25, 2011, 08:16:22 pm »If you want to create an FP number like -0.145 in the program, I believe you have to create it using hex.Perhaps I should release the routine I made to convert a string to a real and store it in a real var, so it would make this even easier to use this library, as it doesn't require knowledge of the FP format. This Axiom doesn't either, does it? I believe the Axiom only adds math functions, not creating or displaying non-integer FP numbers. 184

Intriguing. Now, people really can write a CAS in Axe.

Apps:
Programs: 67 Appvars: 35 Pictures: 5 Groups: 7 The pic files are all data for my Axe programs, the groups are back-ups of Nostalgia appvars, as well as Illusiat 10 and another game. The appvars are mostly back-ups, but there are a few data files, fonts, and settings ones. The programs are 99% programs and source files, only 2 being games. 188
Axe / Re: Modifying real numbers from ram ---AXE PARSER« on: October 12, 2011, 07:10:01 pm »Hmm... so how would i get the address of, say the real number A. I tried the following code on Wabbitmu and my calculator:What version of Axe are you using? If it's prior to 0.5.3 for some reason, then the offset should be float{B-2}. Otherwise, what is the error? Is it storing an incorrect number, or is the real var A not being created? 189
Axe / Re: Axe Q&A« on: October 11, 2011, 05:58:36 pm »I tried with 0.5.3bYou could copy the string to a SafeRAM area, or a var in the RAM, then run the comparison from there. 190

Miscellaneous / Re: This cyberbullying thing from the democrats is stupid« on: October 06, 2011, 05:54:20 am »While he did state statistics, he also made a generalization about mentally unstable people. My sister was very unstable at one point, we had to admit her to a hospital twice, and I was very worried she would hurt herself. I may have overreacted slightly, but I don't appreciate people making generalizations about those with mental instabilities, because of everything I saw my sister go through.Oh no!!! out of the forty percent of kids that are cyberbullied,I believe I understand the point you were trying to make, but I found this comment rather offensive, considering my sister has bipolar. She seems to be OK now, but she was fairly unstable a while back, and was bullied at her old middle school. 194

I find that admirable. I'm sorry Finale. I need to think harder about what I post.I know you didn't mean anything bad by it. Just keep things like that in mind in the future, and I'm sure you'll be fine. 195
