Edit:  After I wrote this, TI released OS 2.53 MP.  It messes with the flag so you can't reset it with G-T.  Instead, you must use a small Asm program with this hex code: FDCB058EC9  However, on the old (read: better) OSes you can use G-T.

Minecraft Discussion / My Minecraft Server

So, since my friend never really gets on because his internet is spotty at best, and I get bored playing alone, I thought I'd see if anyone wants to hop on my server. It's still a 1.7.3 server, because I'm waiting for some of my mods to update to 1.8.1 before I upgrade Bukkit. It can only hold about 4-5 people at a time, though since it's hosted from my laptop.

IP: 76.106.12.192

My server does require you to have a number of client-side mods installed. Sorry about that, but I thought it'd be fun. If the process is too annoying for ya, shoot me an email.
Mods my server requires (These are all the 1.7.3 versions, that's the way):
RedPower v1.7.1
Minecraft Forge v1.0.6
Balkon's Weapons v6.1.0 (You need to use the SMP Client version, otherwise it won't work.)
Flan's Vehicles v4
Flan's WW2 Guns v3
ModLoader
ModLoaderMP
AudioMod
TurboModelThingy I know the Mediafire page says 1.7.2, but it should be the proper version)

As a heads up, the server might be going down sometime soon, but I'll try to have it back up this evening.
EDIT: Actually it looks like I have to go pick up my dog now, so it's going down now. Sorry about that. I hope to have it back up in a few hours at most.

EDIT2: It's back up now, and should hopefully be up through tonight.

Are the sprites for the Shadowed dimension final?  It's kind of hard to tell what's what, esp while moving :\
The cobble floor and carpet are just some sprites I threw together for testing, they'll probably change, and the banners are definitely place holders. Silly looking banners with an 'F' on them don't really fit in an evil overlord's castle.

Ok. Do you use grayscale at all in the whole game, just out of curiosity?
The title screen is going too. What's in the video now is just a placeholder.

Yep, its the Omega sign. The thing is, it's hard to find more human-like ASCII chars, the Omega sign is one of the best.

The Nostalgia dimension is monochrome and it'll stay like that to pay homage to the BASIC RPGs that inspired it.

If you can emulate a full GameBoy in pure JavaScript, you can obviously port any of those individual games into the language.
True... but Megaman is NES not gb/gbc lol
There are 5 Megaman games for the GameBoy, and 2 Megaman X games for the GameBoy Color.

Alright! I made a bunch more progress. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the NPC convo appvar I uploaded to my computer, so you won't see NPC interaction in the screenie, since Wabbit wouldn't take the appvar. I'll work on fixing that later.

But you still get to see the Nostalgia dimension, along with all the jumping, kicking and chain-blading action it has to offer!
And just to prove the two dimensions coexist peacefully, I have one of the maps warping somewhere it shouldn't, just to show off the Shadowed Dimension still working. I also have the beginnings of the re-implemented title-screen(there's just a placeholder right now) and the main menu.

So enjoy, and let me know what you think!

ROM Hacking and Console Homebrew / Re: Omni Emblem

@Finale Have no fear, wine runs usenti almost flawlessly. There's a little jagging with rectangular select, but if you're just reguantizing the palette it should work perfectly. it only takes pngs though, so you can use GIMP to convert it.
Great to hear. I've already booted back into Windows though, cause I have to do some other stuff, but I'll keep that in mind for the future, should I need to adjust a picture's palette.

Huzzah! The Illusiat series is quite possibly my favorite set of TI-83+/84+ RPGs, and Illusiat 11 was the first RPG I ever played on my TI-83+.
I'm glad to see it turn 10 years old.

Chrono Trigger and FF3/6. Best SNES rpgs I've ever played.
Megaman X, X2, and X3 are good games too.
