I have been doing some work on the battle engine recently, in addition to the mapper. I'm using the battle engine as a chance to familiarize myself with the new functions and syntax that Axe 1.0.1 has introduced. Currently, all I've got done are some core routines, so nothing screenshot worthy yet.

Awesome! It works now. I was just confused because the readme says output.bin, so I thought it needed the ending.

I tried to get this to work, but even after following all the instructions, I get no page count field error.
Where do you get that error at? Is that at TiConnect? If it is, it's probably to8xk malfunctioning or something and I'll pinpoint it.
Here's an attached pic of the error. The bottom error is the one I normally receive, saying I have no page count field. The one above it is from when I added the -f flag to the rabbitsign call, resulting in a no page count field, and no date stamp error. The app assembles with the -f flag, but it screws up horribly.

Thanks.
I just added a bit more. The tutorial now also touches on accessing strings, and I began a section on utilizing hacked variables.

Copying will work for virtually any size, you just need to make sure that you have enough RAM for the destination you're copying to.
Files, if I'm not mistaken, are pointers to variables in flash, so you have no need to worry about removing them.
Files shouldn't affect your RAM unless you need to copy something from them to RAM. I believe the size limit for a file is somewhere around 39000 bytes, but I could be wrong.

Hmmm I guess I should get the calculator soon then. Oh so does that work for an rpg like say, Tales of Phantasia? Also, is it possible to use TI-BASIC on the Nspire series or say, the Voyage 200? On a side note, is $40 a good deal for a TI-84 Plus silver edition?
BASIC does exist on the Nspire, Voyage 200, and 84 Plus series, but it is horribly crippled on the Nspire. However, on Nspire OS 3.0.1 and 3.0.2, Lua is supported, which would be much more powerful than Nspire BASIC, though still a bit limited. Out of the 3, the Voyage 200 probably has the strongest implementation of BASIC, supporting sprites and other advanced features right out of the box. The downside is that there are only a few active 68k programmers, so support might take a little more time than for the 84 Plus. There are at least one or two active 68k BASIC programmers here, though. I don't believe he has a Voyage 200, but he'd probably be able to help at least a little bit. As for the 84 Plus, the $40 sounds like a good deal, but if possible make sure it's in good working condition. 84 Plus BASIC is compatible with the 83 Plus, and there are a lot of people here with experience in 84 Plus/83 Plus BASIC, so support would probably be easy to come by. It doesn't support things like sprites out of the box, so if you wanted to make a game that actually looked like Tales of Phantasia, sprites and all, you'd need to use an ASM library. With Voyage 200 BASIC and 84 Plus BASIC, I would recommend playing around with it for a while before attempting to use an ASM library. If you're looking to use BASIC, I would recommend the Voyage 200 or 84 Plus. Though the Nspire(not the CX, though) has a 84 Plus emulator, it doesn't support certain things, like TI-Boy.

I've hit the include bug as well, though I encountered something else rather serious. I'm not quite sure what caused it, as every app compile after that one has successfully defraged and compiled. What happened is that I compiled an app to update it from 0.5.3, but when it began to defrag, corrupted coordinates appeared at the bottom of my screen and my calc seemed to freeze. I did a battery pull and everything seemed ok. Then I noticed things where randomly corrupting, and whenever I tried to set my window coordinates(among other things, like use Celtic's lineread function), I would receive an ERR:UNDEFINED. I believe that through some odd twist of fate, my OS was corrupted.
I don't think this was entirely Axe's fault, but I do find it to be a bit odd. I was using a TI-84+ SE with OS 2.43 and a certificate modded using thepenguin's program. The only other thing installed was zStart, and I believe I had RAM cleared shortly before that fateful compile. I haven't yet had a chance to restore my OS, as I'm away from my laptop for the next several hours.

Whichever is the most epic. If it's some crazy, fast-paced level with bullets and the like flying everywhere with constant split-second decisions or a really complicated puzzle, then it would be the level. But if there's some really dynamic boss battle or something, ie not something like Giant Enemy Crab, and it's actually fun to play against while difficult at the same time, it would be that.
You pretty much just described Touhou... I'd probably have to go with having a blast playing.

Alright, here's a compiled version of the player for Keoni, and Sir's MIDI.
Sir, I was able to cut off the first 27 seconds, and I did some slight editing so it sounded ok, though I only tested it in Wabbit. So if it still needs some tweaking let me know.

I'm sorry to see you go DJ.
I joined UTI shortly before the server change, and everyone disappeared. I came over here because I remembered that 2009 contest from the ticalc news, and I lurked for a while. Eventually, when I saw how active and friendly Omni was, I signed up. I only regret I didn't join sooner.
Personally, you've made a huge impact on me. I respect people who stand up for what they believe in, and I respect the fact that you believe everyone deserves respect. That is a huge part of why I like Omni so much. Also, your programs served as an inspiration for me to further explore TI-BASIC programming, which lead to my Axe programming and my discovery of my love of programming.
My sister is bipolar, and used to be picked on a lot, before we knew what the problem was. Now, we are better able to support her, and she seems a lot happier. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that being surrounded by people who care for you, as I'm sure everyone who's posted here does, as well as plenty of others do, can often make all the difference.
And as AoC and Qwerty and several other have said, you aren't worthless. No one is.
