Sometimes when TI-Connect won't work for me, switching the USB port that my cable is in will fix the problem.

Here's a vid:

One thing I particularly like about the Starforce and Battle Network series is that they're RPGs, but the battles are a mixture of turn-based and real-time combat. When the battle begins, you choose your Battle Cards/Chips, then start your turn. You then use the selected cards/chips to perform attacks in addition to your Megabuster while dodging your enemy's attacks. When the custom gauge fills back up, you can open the custom screen and pick more cards/chips.

Edit: Vid that shows Red Joker transformation.

My feature request is saving your graph window settings(both window size and format options) whenever you change them, then restore them on RAM Clear.

EDIT: I just had an idea to die for! (Not really die, but I digress)
Can you please impliment an Omnicalc Quick-App style Quick-Program thing to make scrolling through the program list really fast.  All it is is a linked list (if my speculation is correct), so all you have to do is mess with the VAT.  This would have to be redone every time Mirage or DCS is re-sorted (I think), but I scroll through with the program menu and would use this a lot.  Thanks!
Also, was Quick-Apps in zStart ever implimented?  Personally, Omnicalc messes with too many things for me to use it, so I don't have Quick-Apps enabled because I don't have Omnicalc enabled and would like it running. :)
Thanks!
I would also find this to be insanely helpful, because I almost always have a massive program list that takes forever to scroll through.

News / Re: Omnimaga 2011 Programming Contest, Part #1: Axe Parser
« on: May 15, 2011, 09:00:22 pm »
Actually I think Nostalgia was doing quite well though, but IIRC you switched entries or lost data, so you had a major setback. But yeah I would also avoid games like Metroid, since they're so large (unless you make maps really fast)

Also the Axiom deadline thing was so people's source code doesn't look like this on July 14th... <_<

Code: [Select]
PRGM:CRYSIS84
.AXECRYSS
#Axiom(CRYSIS)
Well I switched entries because of the data loss, and Blur was just the end product of a combination of some code I'd been experimenting with and a simple menu. That was probably my fastest coded game that was actually semi-enjoyable to play.

The trick is to just avoid extremely large projects such as a large platform RPG.
Amen to that. I learned my lesson with all the trouble Nostalgia caused me last year.
That said, I think I might sit out part one, since the UTI contest is getting down to crunch time, and I really need to focus on that.

Gaming Discussion / Megaman Starforce

Has anyone else here played it?

Personally, Starforce 3 is my favorite. The music is fantastic, right up there with Megaman Battle Network 2 and 3. The story actually isn't that bad, and Ace is a pretty cool character. I've beaten Red Joker, but I really want to get my hands on a copy of Black Ace, which is what I originally wanted to get, but they were sold out when I bought it.

If you've never played the Starforce games, I suggest you check them out, unless you aren't a Megaman fan. My personal recommendation is Starforce 1 or 3. Starforce 2 was not a very good game in my opinion, for various reasons.

Prolog sounds cool. I'm gonna have to take a look at it once I get through my LISP book.

Spoiler For InuYasha - Flieg durch die Zeit:
^ It's the German opening, but I like it more than the Japanese one.

Spoiler For Sengoku Basara - JAP:
^ This show just became one of my favorite animes, mainly because of how awesome Date Masamune is.

Spoiler For Naruto Shippuden - Toumei Datta Sekai:

Spoiler For Code Geass - Colors:
Spoiler For Code Geass - World End:

Spoiler For Shakugan no Shana - Sociometry:
Spoiler For Shakugan no Shana - Sense:
This is the last ending for season two, but I couldn't find the actual ending/didn't want to spoil it, since I'm a few episodes away from it, and Season 2 is starting to get really epic.

Spoiler For Soul Eater - Black Paper Moon:

It may also be that he's calling a DispGraph routine and hasn't called Fix 5 yet, which would make it appear to not work.

Also, somewhat unrelated: What is GlassOS? I either missed it or am just unfamiliar with it.
It's an OS project for the 83+/84+ family over at Cemetech. It's being made in C with SDCC, if I'm not mistaken.

I changed mine to Shanatan from Shakugan no Shanatan, a parody of the series Shakugan no Shana. This clip in particular is from Shakugan no Shanatan: The Movie, a parody of the Shakugan no Shana movie.

TI Z80 / Re: Crabcake
« on: May 10, 2011, 09:12:31 pm »
By popular request, I am now writing Axe Axioms for Crabcake.  Just remember that your Axe game will need to be shell-compatible.  Also, the Axioms will use polar variables for execution.  For example:

;To start Crabcake

r1
r2
r1r

;Axe game
Sounds cool, but would that conflict with using r1-r6 as variables, or can the parser handle that? Because r1-r6 are used to feed subroutines arguments when they are called, which makes them very commonly used variables.
